Myjava Women hit five in ruthless away win at Zlate Moravce-Vrable

TJ Spartak Myjava Women produced a dominant 5-0 away victory over Zlate Moravce-Vrable Women in the SVK WD1 on 18 October 2026. The visitors were sharper, quicker to the ball and far more clinical in front of goal, turning a promising start into a convincing three-point performance.

Myjava Women opened the scoring inside the first 10 minutes, catching the home defence with a quick attack down the right. The early goal settled the visitors, and they doubled their lead midway through the first half with a composed finish after a flowing passing move. Zlate Moravce-Vrable struggled to contain Myjava’s movement between the lines.

Match overview

The third goal arrived just before half-time, effectively ending the contest. Myjava’s pressing forced a mistake in the home side’s defensive third, and the ball was calmly converted from close range. Zlate Moravce-Vrable tried to respond after the break, but they could not find a way through a well-organised Myjava defence.

Myjava added two more goals in the second half to complete the rout. Their fourth came from a set piece, with a header powered past the goalkeeper, and the fifth was a fine individual effort that capped a player-of-the-match display from their leading attacker. The final whistle confirmed a comprehensive win for the visitors.

Key moments

• Myjava Women took the lead inside 10 minutes after a fast break down the right and a low finish.
• The visitors doubled their advantage midway through the first half with a neat passing move through midfield.
• A defensive error allowed Myjava to make it 3-0 just before half-time.

• The scoring was completed with a composed finish late on after a strong run from the left.

Tactical story

Myjava Women’s pressing game was too much for Zlate Moravce-Vrable to handle. The visitors pressed in coordinated units, cutting off passing lanes and forcing the home side into long balls that were comfortably defended. When Myjava won possession, they attacked with purpose and numbers, stretching the home defence with wide runs and late arrivals in the box.

Zlate Moravce-Vrable’s best spell came early in the second half, but it produced no reward. Myjava’s goalkeeper dealt comfortably with crosses, and the defence held a high line to squeeze the space in midfield. The visitors’ ability to control the game after scoring early was the foundation of the result.

Standout performers

Myjava’s leading forward was the standout player, scoring twice and causing problems throughout with her movement and link-up play. The visiting midfield controlled the tempo and won most of the second balls, while the centre-back was commanding in the air and scored the fourth goal. For Zlate Moravce-Vrable, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score from being even heavier.

Season impact

The result gives TJ Spartak Myjava Women a major boost in the SVK WD1 table and a significant advantage in goal difference. Zlate Moravce-Vrable Women will need to address their defensive organisation quickly, as they were punished for every mistake against a ruthless opponent. Myjava, meanwhile, will take confidence from a complete away performance as they look to maintain their push near the top of the standings.
