Slovan Bratislava Women delivered a commanding attacking performance to beat Zlate Moravce-Vrable W 5-2 in the SVK WD1 on 24 October 2026, turning a competitive first half into a clear away victory with a ruthless second-half display. The result underlined Slovan’s title credentials and exposed the defensive difficulties that continue to trouble Zlate Moravce-Vrable W.

Match overview

Slovan Bratislava Women started brightly and took control of the game early, pressing high and moving the ball quickly through the midfield. Their wide players caused problems from the opening minutes, stretching the Zlate Moravce back line and creating space between the full-backs and centre-backs. Zlate Moravce-Vrable W tried to respond through direct counterattacks, and they enjoyed their best moments when they could get the ball forward quickly.

However, Slovan’s quality in the final third proved decisive. They scored at key moments, answered each Zlate Moravce goal with another surge forward, and never allowed the home side to build sustained momentum. By the final twenty minutes, the visitors were in complete control and added further goals to make the scoreline reflect their superiority.

• 7th minute – Slovan open the scoring: A quick passing move opened up the Zlate Moravce defence, and the Slovan forward finished neatly at the near post.
• 19th minute – Doubling the lead: Slovan’s high press forced a turnover, and a composed finish made it 2-0.
• 34th minute – Zlate Moravce respond: The home side pulled one back with a well-taken counterattacking goal, briefly raising hopes of a comeback.

• 86th minute – Fifth goal seals it: Slovan completed the scoring with a calm finish on the break, capping a dominant attacking display.

Tactical story

Slovan Bratislava Women’s attacking plan was built on width and quick combinations. Their wide players stayed high, forcing Zlate Moravce’s defence to defend large spaces, and their midfielders consistently arrived in support to create overloads. The high press also played a major role: Slovan won possession in dangerous areas and converted turnovers into scoring chances.

Zlate Moravce-Vrable W had positive moments going forward, particularly when they attacked directly and caught Slovan pushing forward. Their two goals were well deserved for their persistence. Defensively, though, they struggled to cope with Slovan’s movement and were repeatedly exposed in transition. The home side’s back line was stretched too easily, and Slovan’s clinical finishing made them pay.

Standout performers

Slovan’s centre-forward was the focal point of the attack, leading the line with intelligent movement and ruthless finishing. The midfield also deserves credit for controlling the tempo and winning so many second balls. For Zlate Moravce-Vrable W, the attacking players who combined for both goals showed fighting spirit, but the team’s defensive unit will need to improve its organization and communication after conceding five times.

Season impact

The win is a significant statement for Slovan Bratislava Women in the SVK WD1 title race, highlighting their firepower and ability to dominate away from home. For Zlate Moravce-Vrable W, the defeat leaves clear work to do defensively, even though their two-goal showing offers encouragement. Slovan leave with three points and a strong attacking platform; Zlate Moravce must regroup quickly and find greater compactness ahead of their next fixture.
