Match Overview

Lubovna were in control from the first minute. They moved the ball crisply, pressed aggressively, and created chances at will. Raslavice, by contrast, looked disjointed and struggled to cope with the pace of the game. The home side led 3-0 at half-time and added two more goals in the second half to seal a comfortable win.

Key Moments

The scoring began in the 5th minute when Lukáš Mikuláš tapped in from close range after a fine save from the Raslavice goalkeeper. Martin Šoltés made it 2-0 in the 19th minute with a precise free-kick. The third came in the 33rd minute, Lukáš Mikuláš again finishing off a counter-attack.

After the break, Lubovna kept their foot on the gas. Patrik Vavrek scored the fourth in the 52nd minute with a header, and Jozef Belan completed the scoring in the 78th minute with a low drive. Raslavice never truly threatened, managing only one shot on target all game.

Tactical Analysis

Lubovna operated with a 4-4-2 that became a 4-2-4 in possession, overwhelming Raslavice's midfield. Their wingers cut inside to allow the full-backs to overlap, creating chaos in the final third. Raslavice tried to sit deep and absorb pressure, but they were unable to clear their lines effectively and were punished for repeated errors. Lubovna's pressing was particularly impressive, forcing turnovers high up the pitch.

Standout Players

Lukáš Mikuláš was the standout with two goals and relentless energy. Martin Šoltés dictated play from midfield and scored a superb free-kick. Patrik Vavrek was a constant threat in the air. For Raslavice, goalkeeper Ivan Černák made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, but he received little protection from his defence.

League Impact

With this win, Stara Lubovna climb the Slovak 3.Liga standings and strengthen their push for promotion. OFK-SIM Raslavice remain in a precarious position and must regroup quickly. The 5-0 scoreline is a clear indicator of the gap between the two sides on current form.
