Tactical Story

Kezmarok started with a high line and aggressive pressing, which caught Slavia off guard early on. But once Slavia settled, they exploited the space behind that high line with through balls and runs from deep. The equaliser came from exactly that pattern. In the second half, Slavia pushed their full-backs higher, pinning Kezmarok back. The visitors tired, and Slavia's superior fitness and bench options made the difference. The third goal was a classic counter-attack after Kezmarok lost the ball in midfield.

Standout Players

Slavia's central midfielder was the engine of the comeback, scoring one and assisting another. Their centre-back was dominant in the air and won the header that led to the second goal. For Kezmarok, their goalkeeper kept the score down with several saves, and their lone striker worked tirelessly but lacked support.

Season Impact

Slavia TU Kosice move up the Slovak 3.Liga table and strengthen their push for promotion. MFK Kezmarok remain in the bottom half and will be concerned about their second-half performances. Slavia now look forward to a derby clash next weekend, while Kezmarok must regroup quickly to avoid slipping further.
