Dunajska Luzna 2-1 FK Raca Bratislava ended in a hard-fought home victory on 24 October 2026, as a late winner settled a competitive Slovak 3.Liga clash.

A local-flavoured contest with late drama

Dunajska Luzna started brightly and took the lead in the 23rd minute through Marek Hudec, who timed his run into the box perfectly to meet a cross from the left. The home side’s energy and pressing unsettled Raca early on, but the visitors gradually settled and began to ask questions of their own.

FK Raca Bratislava equalised in the 57th minute when Tomas Sloboda converted from close range after a period of sustained pressure. At that point the game looked set for a draw, but Dunajska Luzna found one more moment of quality. With nine minutes remaining, Peter Kral latched onto a loose ball at the edge of the area and drove a low finish into the bottom corner to seal the three points.

Key moments

• 23’ – Dunajska Luzna 1-0: Marek Hudec converts a left-sided cross with a composed finish.
• 57’ – FK Raca Bratislava 1-1: Tomas Sloboda levels after a spell of away pressure.
• 81’ – Dunajska Luzna 2-1: Peter Kral scores the winner from the edge of the box.
• 90+3’: Raca’s last set piece is cleared as the home side hold on.

Tactical story: energy against control

Dunajska Luzna’s 4-2-3-1 was built on quick ball movement and aggressive pressing in the middle third. Their midfield duo worked hard to deny Raca time on the ball, and the front four rotated constantly to create space. That approach produced the opening goal and kept the visitors under pressure for long spells.

Raca Bratislava responded with a more patient 4-4-2, using their wide midfielders to stretch the play and deliver crosses into the box. Their equaliser came from exactly that pattern, but the home side’s response was impressive. Dunajska Luzna regained their composure, pushed higher up the pitch, and found the winning goal through Kral’s sharpness around the penalty area.

Standout performers

Hudec’s movement and finishing made him a constant threat, while Kral’s winner capped a strong all-round display in midfield. For Raca, Sloboda was their most dangerous attacker and took his goal well, but the visitors will be disappointed with the space they allowed in the build-up to Dunajska Luzna’s second goal.

What the result means

The win gives Dunajska Luzna an important three points in the Slovak 3.Liga and reinforces their strong home form. FK Raca Bratislava leave with a sense of missed opportunity after equalising in the second half, but their performance showed enough character to suggest they will remain competitive. In a division where fine margins often decide the promotion and relegation picture, a late home winner like this can carry real weight across the season.
