DAC Dunajská Streda B delivered a comprehensive home victory on 4 October 2026, thrashing KFC Komárno B 4-0 in the Slovak 3. Liga. Four goals without reply represented one of the most dominant performances of the round, and it underlined exactly why the Dunajská Streda academy is regarded as one of the most productive in Slovak football.

Match Overview

Dunajská Streda has built a reputation for developing technically gifted players, and the B team's 4-0 win over KFC Komárno B was a perfect showcase of that philosophy: quick passing, intelligent movement and a fearless commitment to attacking football. Komárno B, arriving as underdogs, struggled to contain a home side that clicked from the opening whistle.

By the final whistle the margin could arguably have been even wider, such was the home side's control of the contest.

Key Moments

• Immediate pressure: DAC's young side began on the front foot, pressing aggressively and penning Komárno B inside their own half.
• Early breakthrough: The opening goal came from sustained pressure, setting the tone for a dominant first period.
• Doubling up: A second goal before the interval gave the hosts a commanding half-time lead.
• No let-up: DAC continued to dictate after the restart, adding a third with a well-worked attacking move.
• Emphatic finish: A fourth goal completed the rout and confirmed the hosts' clean sheet.

Tactical Story

DAC Dunajská Streda B played with a clear identity. In possession they looked to build patiently from the back, drawing Komárno's press before releasing passes into midfield runners. Out of possession they pressed aggressively and high, forcing turnovers in dangerous areas and denying their opponents any rhythm. That combination of structured build-up and aggressive counter-pressing is precisely the model used throughout the club's youth system.

Komárno B were simply overrun. Their defensive block was dragged out of shape by DAC's rotations, and once the first goal went in the game became an uphill battle. To their credit, they kept working and never allowed the match to become chaotic, but they lacked the individual quality to threaten a comeback.

Standout Performers

The entire DAC front line impressed, with quick interchanges and clinical finishing in the final third. The midfield controlled the tempo of the game, and the defence's clean sheet was the product of consistent concentration rather than luck. For Komárno B, the goalkeeper had an extremely busy afternoon and prevented the scoreline from becoming even more lopsided, while their defensive unit gained valuable experience against one of the strongest B teams in the country.

Season Impact

A 4-0 home win provides a significant boost to both morale and goal difference in the Slovak 3. Liga, where those margins can matter enormously by the end of the campaign. DAC Dunajská Streda B have sent a clear message to the rest of the division that they are a force to be reckoned with on home turf.

For KFC Komárno B, the result is a tough lesson, but reserve-team football is measured primarily in player development. The challenge now is to translate the experience into improved performances, particularly in away fixtures where the side has found life more difficult.
