UP Plasencia 1-1 Moralo CP — UP Plasencia and Moralo CP shared the points in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on Sunday evening, drawing 1-1 after a match that swung between Plasencia control and a determined Moralo comeback.

Match overview

UP Plasencia started brightly and deservedly took the lead midway through the first half. They controlled possession and looked comfortable for long spells, but Moralo CP stayed in the game, improved after the break and found an equaliser in the final quarter of an hour. Both sides pushed for a winner late on, yet neither could find the decisive moment.

Key moments

• 31’ — UP Plasencia 1-0: Javier Corchado opened the scoring with a well-placed shot from the edge of the area after a patient build-up.
• 44’: Plasencia nearly doubled their lead, but a close-range effort was blocked on the line.
• 56’: Moralo CP began to press higher and forced two quick corners as the momentum shifted.
• 76’ — UP Plasencia 1-1: David Retamar equalised for Moralo, finishing calmly after a cross from the right caused confusion in the Plasencia defence.
• 88’: Plasencia responded with a late header that flashed just wide of the post.

Tactical story

Plasencia’s midfield dictated the tempo early on, with quick combinations and good movement creating space in wide areas. Moralo CP adjusted after half-time, pushing their wing-backs higher and committing more bodies forward. That change stretched the game and created the space for the equaliser, though it also left Moralo exposed to late counterattacks.

Standout players

Javier Corchado was central to Plasencia’s best attacking moments, linking midfield and attack with intelligent runs. David Retamar’s equaliser capped a strong second-half display for Moralo, while both central defensive pairings made important interventions in a tense closing period.

Season impact

The draw leaves UP Plasencia frustrated at letting a lead slip at home, but it also extends their unbeaten run in the Tercera División RFEF. Moralo CP will view the point as a positive result away from home and evidence of their resilience in tight matches.
