UDC Txantrea KKE produced a ruthless attacking display to overwhelm MRA Navarra 5-1 in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on October 24, 2026. The home side were clinical, aggressive, and relentless in the final third, turning a competitive opening period into a one-sided scoreline with a surge of goals either side of half-time.

Match overview

Txantrea set the tone with a high press and quick forward passing, forcing MRA Navarra into repeated mistakes at the back. The home side led 2-0 at the break and, after MRA briefly threatened a comeback early in the second half, Txantrea responded with three more goals to put the result beyond doubt. The scoreline reflected both Txantrea’s finishing and their ability to sustain pressure for long spells.

Key moments

• Txantrea opened the scoring inside the first 20 minutes after winning the ball high and finishing low into the corner.
• A second goal before half-time came from a well-worked move down the left, leaving MRA’s defence exposed.
• MRA Navarra pulled one back early in the second half through Dani López, briefly raising hopes of a comeback.
• Txantrea responded almost immediately with a third, then added two more late goals as MRA tired.

Tactical story

Txantrea’s midfield pressed in coordinated waves, cutting off MRA’s passing lanes and forcing long balls that were easily recycled. Their wide players stayed high, creating constant overloads against MRA’s full-backs. Once Txantrea regained possession, they attacked vertically and with purpose. MRA Navarra had spells of possession but lacked the penetration to trouble the home defence consistently. The one goal they scored came from a rare breakdown in Txantrea’s concentration, but it did little to change the flow of the match.

Standout performers

Iker Echeverría was the architect of the victory, scoring twice and linking play intelligently between midfield and attack. Unai Goñi added a goal and an assist, while Aitor Zabaleta and Rubén Ochoa completed the scoring. Txantrea’s goalkeeper was called into action only a few times but distributed well under pressure. For MRA Navarra, Dani López took his goal well and remained a willing runner, but the visitors were overrun in midfield and struggled to contain Txantrea’s rotations.

Season impact

The five-goal haul gives UDC Txantrea KKE a major boost in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF, adding valuable goal difference alongside the three points. It was the kind of performance that sends a message to the rest of the division about Txantrea’s attacking potential. MRA Navarra, meanwhile, must address their defensive shape after conceding five, though the response to their early second-half goal showed some character. Txantrea will look to build on the momentum, while MRA need a quick reset.
