UD Tomares 1-0 Bollullos CF: Second-Half Goal Secures Narrow Home Win

UD Tomares earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bollullos CF in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on 18 October 2026. A single second-half goal was enough to settle a tight contest at 18:00, giving Tomares three valuable points and a clean sheet in front of their home supporters.

The match was not short on effort, but clear chances were limited for long periods. Tomares controlled more of the ball, while Bollullos CF defended in a compact block and looked to threaten from set pieces and counter-attacks. In the end, one moment of quality proved decisive.

Match overview

UD Tomares began the game with purpose, moving the ball quickly through midfield and trying to stretch Bollullos CF’s back line. The visitors responded by dropping deeper and denying space between the lines. The first half was largely a battle of patience, with Tomares enjoying possession but struggling to find a clear route to goal.

The breakthrough came in the 56th minute. Tomares won the ball back high up the pitch, shifted it wide, and delivered a low cross that was converted from close range. Bollullos CF pushed forward in search of an equalizer and had a late chance from a corner, but Tomares defended bravely and held on for the win.

Tactical story

UD Tomares’ win was built on control and persistence. Their midfield kept the ball moving and prevented Bollullos CF from building rhythm, while the back line stepped up well to catch the visitors offside on several occasions. The decisive goal came from exactly the kind of pressure their coach would have wanted: a forced error, a quick transition, and a finish in the penalty area.

Bollullos CF will feel they deserved more from their second-half response. They improved after going behind and caused problems from set pieces, but they lacked the final touch in open play. Tomares, by contrast, managed the closing minutes well and protected their lead with disciplined defending.

Standout players and standings impact

The Tomares goalkeeper was a key figure, making a crucial save in the 78th minute and dealing confidently with crosses. The goalscorer will take the headlines, but the midfield screen in front of the defense deserved credit for limiting Bollullos CF’s chances. The three points strengthen UD Tomares’ position in the Tercera División RFEF standings and give them momentum, while Bollullos CF are left with a narrow away defeat to recover from.
