UD Samano 1-1 CD Bezana: UD Samano and CD Bezana shared the points in a 1-1 draw in the Tercera División RFEF, a result that reflected a closely fought contest with chances at both ends.

Match overview

The teams cancelled each other out for long periods, with neither side able to establish complete control. Bezana looked dangerous on the counter-attack and took the lead with a composed finish, but Samano responded well and equalised before the break. The second half was more cautious, with both sides wary of conceding again. A point apiece was a fair outcome after a game short on clear-cut chances but high on effort and tactical discipline.

Key moments

• CD Bezana opened the scoring after a quick transition caught Samano’s defence exposed.
• Samano equalised with a well-placed shot from the edge of the penalty area.
• Both goalkeepers made saves in the second half as the game opened up briefly.
• Samano had a late chance from a corner, but the header went over the crossbar.
• Bezana defended solidly in the final minutes to ensure they left with a point.

Tactical story

Bezana’s game plan was built on defensive solidity and quick breaks, and it worked well in the first half. Samano struggled to break down the visiting back line but improved after the interval by moving the ball faster and using the flanks more effectively. Neither team wanted to take unnecessary risks in the closing stages, leading to a tense finish in which the defences came out on top.

Standout performers

Samano’s midfield was central to their comeback, pressing well and distributing intelligently. Bezana’s goalkeeper made two important saves to keep the scores level, while their centre-back pairing dealt with a number of crosses in the second half. Both teams showed strong defensive commitment, which ultimately limited the game to two goals.

Table impact

The draw adds a point to both teams’ tallies in the Tercera División RFEF standings. Samano will see it as a useful result after falling behind, while Bezana may feel they did enough to win. With the table remaining tight, both sides will be looking to turn draws into victories in the coming weeks.
