Aguilas FC B came from behind to beat UD Los Garres 2-1 in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on 24 October 2026, turning a difficult away fixture around with a stronger second-half performance. Los Garres led early, but Aguilas FC B improved after the break and found a late winner to take all three points.

Match overview

UD Los Garres began brightly and used the home crowd to push forward with purpose. The opener arrived midway through the first half and gave the home side a platform to defend. Aguilas FC B, however, stayed patient and gradually gained control of midfield, equalising after the interval before striking late in the contest.

Key moments

• 18th minute: UD Los Garres took the lead with a close-range finish after a cross from the right.
• 54th minute: Aguilas FC B equalised with a measured attack, pulling the ball back for a first-time shot.
• 82nd minute: The visitors scored the winner, capitalising on a loose ball inside the penalty area.
• 90th minute: Los Garres pushed for an equaliser, but Aguilas FC B defended their box well in stoppage time.

Tactical story

Los Garres set up to be compact and direct, looking for quick service into the forward line. That worked well in the opening half-hour, but Aguilas FC B began to press higher after the break and forced more turnovers in the final third. The visitors’ substitutions added width and fresh legs, which proved decisive as Los Garres dropped deeper in the closing stages.

Standout players

Aguilas FC B’s midfield runner Iker Mendez was influential in the comeback, linking play and arriving late in the box. Los Garres’ goalkeeper kept the home side in contention with two strong saves, but the visitors’ persistence in the final 20 minutes ultimately made the difference.

Season impact

The away win gives Aguilas FC B an important boost in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF table and underlines their ability to respond after conceding first. UD Los Garres will be disappointed to lose after taking the lead, especially at home, and will need to manage late-game situations more carefully in their next fixtures.
