Silva SD 0-2 CD Boiro: Boiro Claim Solid Away Victory in Tercera División RFEF

CD Boiro secured a professional 2-0 away win against Silva SD in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on 19 September 2026. A goal in each half gave Boiro control of the contest, while Silva SD were left to rue a lack of cutting edge in the final third. The result is a valuable one for Boiro in the race for position in the Tercera División RFEF standings.

Boiro were well organised from the first whistle and took the lead with a composed finish after a patient build-up. Silva SD responded with a spell of pressure but could not find an equaliser before half-time. In the second half, Boiro doubled their advantage and then managed the game expertly, limiting Silva’s chances and seeing out the win with few alarms.

Match Overview

The visitors started with intent, pressing Silva SD’s defenders and forcing turnovers in midfield. That pressure paid off when Boiro opened the scoring with a low shot from inside the box. Silva SD tried to react quickly, pushing their wingers forward and looking for crosses into the box, but Boiro’s centre-backs dealt with the danger comfortably.

After the break, Silva SD committed more players forward in search of an equaliser, which left gaps at the back. Boiro exploited those gaps with a well-executed counter-attack, scoring their second goal and effectively ending the contest. From there, Boiro slowed the tempo and protected their clean sheet, while Silva SD struggled to create any clear-cut chances.

Key Moments

• Boiro take the lead: A patient passing move ended with a precise finish from the edge of the area, giving the visitors the advantage.
• Silva’s best spell: A series of corners caused brief panic in the Boiro box, but the defence held firm.
• Second-half counter-attack: Boiro won the ball in midfield and broke quickly, doubling their lead with a composed finish.
• Late game management: Boiro kept possession well in the final twenty minutes, denying Silva SD any route back into the match.

Tactical Story

CD Boiro set up in a disciplined 4-2-3-1, with their two defensive midfielders shielding the back four and allowing the attacking players to express themselves. Their pressing was intelligent rather than constant, and they chose their moments to win the ball high up the pitch. Silva SD tried to play through the middle, but Boiro’s compact shape forced them into wide areas where crosses were easily defended.

Silva SD’s biggest problem was the lack of a reliable finisher. They had territory and a few half-chances, but their final pass was often rushed or inaccurate. Boiro, meanwhile, looked dangerous every time they attacked. Their second goal was a perfect example of their game plan: absorb pressure, win the ball back, and strike with speed and precision.

Standout Players

Boiro’s centre-back pairing was excellent, winning headers and reading the game well throughout. Their central midfielder dictated the tempo and provided the assist for the second goal with a perfectly weighted pass. The striker’s movement caused problems all evening and was rewarded with a goal. For Silva SD, the goalkeeper made a few good saves to keep the score down, while their right winger was the most positive outlet, but he lacked support in the box.

Table Impact

The three points give CD Boiro a solid platform in the Tercera División RFEF and underline their credentials as a team capable of grinding out away wins. For Silva SD, the defeat is a missed opportunity to climb the table. They will need to improve their attacking efficiency if they are to turn possession and territory into goals in the coming weeks.
