CD Touring claimed a narrow 1-0 away win at SD Erandio Club in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on Saturday night, deciding a tight contest with a single second-half goal. Erandio had spells of pressure but could not find a way through a disciplined Touring defence, and the visitors made their decisive moment count.

Match overview

The game was played in a cagey, competitive spirit, with both sides cautious in the opening stages. Erandio gradually established a foothold and looked to use the width of the pitch, but clear chances were rare. Touring defended compactly and grew in confidence as the match wore on, eventually finding the breakthrough after the hour mark. Erandio pushed for an equaliser but met a well-organised back line and an inspired goalkeeper.

Key moments

• 21' — Erandio's first meaningful effort is blocked after a neat move on the left.
• 49' — Touring threaten on the break, but the shot is saved at the near post.
• 63' — Touring score the only goal, finishing calmly after a loose ball in the box.
• 76' — Erandio header from a corner is cleared off the line.
• 90+2' — Touring goalkeeper claims a late cross to secure the clean sheet.

Tactical story

Touring's approach was built on defensive discipline and quick counter-attacks. They conceded possession at times but stayed compact in the middle, forcing Erandio to play around them rather than through them. The decisive goal came from a moment of hesitation in the Erandio defence, and Touring punished it immediately. After taking the lead, the visitors dropped deeper and defended their box with concentration, clearing several dangerous deliveries.

Standout performers

Touring's goalkeeper was the standout figure, making two important saves and commanding his area well in the closing stages. The goalscorer also deserves credit for staying alert in a scrappy moment. For Erandio, the left-back was their most consistent attacking outlet, while the central midfielder kept working to create openings despite limited space.

What the result means

The away win gives CD Touring a valuable three points in the Tercera División RFEF standings and highlights their ability to grind out results. SD Erandio Club will be frustrated by a lack of cutting edge, but their overall performance offered enough to suggest better days are ahead if they can convert pressure into goals.
