Alaves C claimed an impressive 2-0 away victory over SD Erandio Club in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF, a result that highlights the strength in depth of the Alaves youth pipeline. Playing on the road, the visitors produced a disciplined and clinical performance to take all three points from a traditionally difficult fixture.

Match Overview

SD Erandio Club, playing at home, began with energy and looked to impose themselves early. However, Alaves C absorbed that initial pressure and gradually took control of the contest, using their technical quality in midfield to dictate the rhythm. The visitors' patience paid off as they found the goals that decided the match.

The Tercera División RFEF is a division where away wins are hard-earned, and Alaves C's ability to keep a clean sheet while scoring twice speaks to their organisation and maturity as a young side.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Alaves C broke the deadlock with a well-constructed move, finishing with precision to silence the home crowd.
• Erandio response: The hosts pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but found the visiting defence difficult to break down.
• Second goal: A second strike put the game beyond Erandio's reach and confirmed Alaves C's control of the contest.
• Clean sheet: The visitors managed the closing stages expertly, denying Erandio any route back into the match.

Tactical Story

Alaves C's approach was based on compact defending and quick, purposeful transitions. When they won the ball, they looked to move it forward immediately, catching Erandio out of shape. That directness created the openings that led to both goals and kept the home side on the back foot for much of the second half.

SD Erandio Club tried to stretch the play and use the width of the pitch, but the final ball was often lacking. Alaves C's defensive midfielders screened the back four effectively, cutting off passing lanes and forcing Erandio into speculative efforts from distance.

Standout Performers

Alaves C's attacking players combined well, with intelligent movement and sharp finishing on display. The defensive unit was equally commendable, producing a composed performance to secure a shutout on the road. For Erandio, the efforts of their midfielders and goalkeeper stood out, even as the result slipped away.

Table and Season Impact

The win strengthens Alaves C's position in the Tercera División RFEF and demonstrates the value of their development-focused approach. For SD Erandio Club, it is a frustrating home defeat, but the division is long and there is ample opportunity to recover. Away victories of this quality are often the marker of a team capable of climbing the standings, and Alaves C will hope to build on this result in the weeks ahead.
