SD Eibar C produced a commanding second-half display to defeat SD Erandio Club 3-1 in their Spanish Tercera División RFEF clash on Saturday, September 19, 2026. After a tight first half, the hosts scored three unanswered goals to secure a convincing victory.

Match Overview

Played at the Eibar training complex, the match was a local derby of sorts, with both teams from the Basque Country. Eibar C, the reserve side of the La Liga club, fielded a young, energetic lineup that grew in confidence as the game progressed. Erandio, more experienced, started well but could not match their opponents’ intensity in the final 30 minutes.

Key Moments

• 32' – Goal! SD Eibar C 1-0: Aitor Zubillaga broke the deadlock with a precise left-footed shot into the bottom corner after a neat one-two.
• 55' – Goal! SD Eibar C 2-0: Jon Ander Pérez doubled the lead with a towering header from a corner.
• 72' – Goal! SD Eibar C 3-0: Substitute Mikel Arrieta added a third, finishing off a rapid counter-attack.
• 88' – Goal! SD Eibar C 3-1: Erandio grabbed a late consolation through captain Iñigo Larrea, who converted a penalty after a foul in the box.

Tactical Story

Eibar C lined up in a fluid 4-3-3, with the front three interchanging positions. Their high press forced Erandio into long balls, which were easily dealt with by the centre-backs. Erandio’s 4-4-2 struggled to contain the movement of Zubillaga and Pérez. The introduction of Arrieta added pace, and Eibar C’s third goal was a perfect example of their counter-attacking threat.

Standout Performers

Aitor Zubillaga was a constant menace, scoring one and assisting another. Jon Ander Pérez’s aerial presence was decisive, and Mikel Arrieta impressed off the bench. For Erandio, Iñigo Larrea never stopped running and scored a well-taken penalty.

What It Means for the Table

The three points lift SD Eibar C into the upper reaches of the Tercera División RFEF standings, strengthening their push for promotion. SD Erandio Club remain mid-table and will need to tighten their defence after conceding three for the second time this season.
