Pasaia KE 1-4 SD Beasain: Beasain Power to Away Win in Tercera División RFEF

SD Beasain delivered a statement away performance on 17 October 2026, beating Pasaia KE 4-1 in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF. The visitors combined pressing, quick passing and clinical finishing to take control of the contest, turning a potentially tight local encounter into a convincing victory. For Pasaia, it was a difficult evening in which defensive errors were punished ruthlessly.

Match overview

Beasain started with intensity and pressed Pasaia high up the pitch, forcing the home side into hurried decisions. The early pressure produced chances, and once Beasain took the lead, they looked comfortable in possession and dangerous whenever they attacked. Pasaia briefly responded and found an equaliser, but the visitors restored their advantage before half-time and never looked back.

The second half belonged almost entirely to Beasain. They managed the game well, kept their shape and added further goals as Pasaia pushed forward in search of a way back. The final 4-1 scoreline reflected both Beasain’s attacking quality and Pasaia’s difficulty in containing runners from midfield. It was a result that underlined Beasain’s promotion credentials in a competitive Tercera División RFEF group.

Key moments

• Beasain took the lead after a high press forced a turnover deep in Pasaia’s half.
• Pasaia KE responded with an equaliser, lifting the home crowd and briefly changing the momentum.
• Beasain regained the lead before half-time with a well-placed finish from the edge of the box.
• Early in the second half, Beasain scored a third after a swift move down the left flank.
• The visitors completed the scoring late on, capitalising on Pasaia’s attempts to push numbers forward.

Tactical story

Beasain’s pressing game was the foundation of their win. They denied Pasaia time on the ball in central areas and forced mistakes that led directly to chances. When they won possession, their first thought was to play forward quickly, and their midfield runners consistently broke beyond Pasaia’s defensive line.

Pasaia struggled to build from the back and were often caught between pressing and dropping off. Their equaliser showed what they could do when they played with confidence, but they could not sustain that level. Beasain’s structure remained intact even as the game opened up, and their ability to control transitions made the second half feel increasingly one-sided.

Standout performers

Beasain’s centre-forward was central to the victory, leading the line with intelligent movement and linking play effectively. The midfield also deserves praise for winning second balls and setting the tempo. On the flanks, Beasain’s wide players stretched Pasaia’s defence and created space for late runners.

For Pasaia KE, the equaliser was a bright moment in an otherwise difficult night. Their goalkeeper made several saves to keep the scoreline respectable, but the team’s defensive organisation will need work. The home side’s attempts to chase the game after falling behind left them exposed to further counter-attacks.

Season impact

This is a valuable three points for SD Beasain in the Tercera División RFEF, where away victories can be decisive in the race for promotion and playoff places. The performance will strengthen belief within the squad and give opponents plenty to think about. For Pasaia KE, the defeat is a setback that demands a response in the next fixture. They will need to tighten their defensive shape and avoid conceding space in transition if they are to climb the table.

The 4-1 scoreline also serves as a warning about the fine margins in Spanish lower-league football: pressing well and finishing chances can turn a balanced contest into a comprehensive win. Beasain did both, and the result was fully deserved.
