Marbelli vs CD Alhaurino: Alhaurino Win 2-0 on the Road in Tercera División RFEF

CD Alhaurino claimed a solid 2-0 away victory over Marbelli in Spanish Tercera División RFEF action on October 11, 2026. Two goals in the second half secured all three points for the visitors, who produced a disciplined and clinical performance on the road.

The match was a closely contested affair for the opening hour, with Marbelli enjoying spells of possession but struggling to create clear chances. Alhaurino's patience and ruthlessness in front of goal proved decisive, leaving the home side to reflect on another missed opportunity.

Match Overview

Marbelli began the game with intent, pressing high and forcing Alhaurino into early clearances. However, the visitors' back line remained organised, and their goalkeeper was rarely troubled. As the first half wore on, Alhaurino grew into the game and began to find space in behind Marbelli's advanced full-backs.

The breakthrough came in the 55th minute when Alhaurino converted a penalty after a foul in the box. Marbelli responded with a spell of pressure, but Alhaurino doubled their lead in the 72nd minute with a well-executed counter-attack. The home side's heads dropped, and Alhaurino managed the closing stages with maturity to secure the win.

Key Moments

• Penalty opener: Alhaurino took the lead from the spot after a mistimed challenge in the penalty area.
• Marbelli response: The hosts pushed forward and forced two saves from the Alhaurino goalkeeper.
• Decisive second: A fast break ended with a low cross converted at the back post to make it 2-0.
• Game management: Alhaurino slowed the tempo, kept possession, and limited Marbelli to long-range efforts.

Tactical Story

Marbelli set up in a 4-3-3, looking to dominate the ball and create chances through their wingers. But Alhaurino's compact 4-4-2 mid-block frustrated them, forcing play into wide areas where crosses were easily defended. The home side lacked a Plan B when their central creative players were marked out of the game.

CD Alhaurino were happy to concede possession and strike on the counter. Their two strikers worked the channels effectively, and the midfielders supported quickly. The penalty came from a direct run into the box, while the second goal showcased their counter-attacking speed. Defensively, Alhaurino's centre-backs were excellent, winning headers and making timely interceptions.

Standout Players

Alhaurino's penalty taker showed composure, and the second goalscorer demonstrated great awareness to arrive at the back post. The goalkeeper made two important saves at 1-0, while the defensive midfielder shielded the back four brilliantly. It was a complete team performance from the visitors.

For Marbelli, the left winger was their most dangerous player, beating his marker on several occasions. The central midfielder tried to dictate play but was often crowded out. The defence will be disappointed with the penalty concession and the ease with which Alhaurino scored their second.

Table and Season Impact

The 2-0 win moves CD Alhaurino into a stronger position in the Tercera División RFEF standings and extends their good run of form. For Marbelli, the defeat leaves them needing to improve their home results if they are to climb the table. The head-to-head record now favors Alhaurino, who will be confident of another positive result in the return fixture.

As the season unfolds, Alhaurino's ability to win away from home will be crucial in the race for promotion or a playoff spot. Marbelli, meanwhile, must find more creativity and a cutting edge in the final third. This match was a reminder that in the Tercera División RFEF, defensive organisation and clinical finishing often separate the contenders from the rest.
