CD Soneja secured a 3-2 away win over Eldense B in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on 24 October 2026, surviving a determined second-half comeback before striking late to take all three points.

Match overview

Soneja made the stronger start and took the lead in the 14th minute when a patient attacking move ended with a precise finish. The visitors doubled their advantage before half-time, capitalising on a spell of pressure and forcing Eldense B to chase the game. At that stage, the away side looked in control, but the reserve team’s response after the interval changed the mood of the contest.

Eldense B pulled one goal back in the 57th minute and then equalised in the 74th, lifting the home crowd and threatening to complete a full turnaround. Soneja, however, regrouped in the final stages and found the winning goal in the 87th minute. The visitors then defended with composure through stoppage time to secure an important road victory.

• 57th minute: Eldense B reduce the deficit and spark a much stronger second-half performance.

Tactical story

Soneja’s first-half control came from winning the midfield battle and moving the ball quickly into wide areas. Their early goals forced Eldense B to defend in transition, and the visitors looked comfortable managing the game. After the break, Eldense B increased their intensity, pressed higher and made the match far more chaotic.

The home side’s equaliser was a reward for that aggressive approach, but it also left them exposed as they pushed for a winner. Soneja used that space well in the closing minutes, slowing the game down before delivering the decisive attacking moment. It was a mature finish to a match that had briefly threatened to slip away from them.

Standout performers

Soneja’s attacking midfielder was central to their best moves, linking midfield and attack with intelligent passing. The away side’s defensive unit also deserves credit for surviving a difficult second-half spell. For Eldense B, the response after half-time was full of energy, and their young midfielders showed composure in possession during the comeback.

What the result means

The victory gives CD Soneja three valuable points in the Tercera División RFEF and underlines their ability to score at important moments. Eldense B will take encouragement from the fightback but will be frustrated to concede late after working so hard to level the score. The reserve side’s development path remains clear, while Soneja can point to this result as evidence of their competitive resilience on the road.
