CD Lealtad 1-1 CD Llanes — Spanish Tercera División RFEF

CD Lealtad and CD Llanes played out a 1-1 draw in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF on Sunday 27 September 2026. The Asturian rivals shared the points after a competitive 90 minutes at 18:00 local time, with both sides enjoying spells of control but neither able to find a late winner.

Match Overview

Llanes made the brighter start and took the lead in the 23rd minute with a swift counter-attack. After absorbing pressure, they moved the ball quickly through midfield and found space behind the Lealtad defence, finishing calmly to make it 1-0. Lealtad responded well, increasing their possession and forcing a series of corners before half-time.

The equaliser arrived in the 58th minute. Lealtad worked the ball patiently around the Llanes penalty area before a low cross was turned in from close range. From that point, the match became more open, with both teams pushing for a second goal but lacking the final touch.

Key Moments

• 23' — CD Llanes 1-0: A quick break ended with a composed finish past the Lealtad goalkeeper.
• 58' — 1-1: Lealtad equalised after sustained pressure, converting from inside the six-yard box.
• 76' — Big save: Llanes' goalkeeper produced a strong stop to deny Lealtad a second goal.
• 88' — Late header: Llanes nearly won it from a set piece, but the header drifted just wide.

Tactical Story

CD Lealtad controlled more of the ball and tried to build through midfield, while CD Llanes were happy to sit compact and attack in transition. Lealtad's full-backs pushed high to create overloads on the wings, but Llanes defended their box well and limited clear chances. The visitors' counter-attacking threat remained real throughout, especially when Lealtad lost possession in central areas.

As the game wore on, Lealtad became more direct, sending crosses into the box, while Llanes looked to slow the tempo and hold onto the draw. The tactical battle was even, and a share of the points felt like a fair outcome.

Standout Players

Lealtad's goalkeeper made important interventions in the second half, while their central midfielder dictated the rhythm of the team's passing. For Llanes, the centre-back pairing was resilient under pressure, and the forward who scored the opening goal was a constant threat on the break.

Season Impact

Both sides take a point from a difficult regional fixture. CD Lealtad will be pleased with their response after falling behind, while CD Llanes will value the away draw and the defensive discipline they showed. In the early stages of the Spanish Tercera División RFEF campaign, every point matters, and this result keeps both teams moving forward.
