CD Cortes 0-3 CD Beti Onak in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF was a clear away victory, with Beti Onak producing a ruthless attacking performance and Cortes unable to find a response. The visitors scored in key moments, managed the game intelligently, and left with three important points.

Early breakthrough sets the tone

Beti Onak started with purpose and were rewarded with the opening goal inside the first quarter of the match. The move came from quick combination play on the edge of the box, and the finish was placed beyond the goalkeeper’s reach. That early goal forced Cortes to abandon their initial cautious approach, and the home side began to commit more players forward in search of an equaliser.

Cortes struggle to respond

Cortes had spells of possession but struggled to create clear chances against a well-drilled Beti Onak defence. Their best moments came from crosses into the box, but the visitors’ centre-backs dealt with the danger comfortably. Beti Onak doubled their lead before half-time, capitalising on a turnover in midfield and finishing a fast break with a low shot that gave the goalkeeper no chance.

Second-half management

After the restart, Cortes tried to increase the tempo and push higher up the pitch. That left space behind their defensive line, and Beti Onak used it well. The third goal arrived midway through the second half, effectively ending the contest. From that point, the visitors managed the game with maturity, slowing the tempo, keeping possession, and limiting Cortes to speculative efforts from distance.

What the result means

For CD Beti Onak, this is a statement away win in the Tercera División RFEF. The three-goal margin reflects their clinical finishing and their ability to defend a lead. For CD Cortes, the defeat highlights the need for greater cutting edge in the final third and more caution when committing numbers forward. In a division where goal difference and away form can shape the table, Beti Onak’s performance will be remembered as one of their more complete displays of the campaign.
