CD Colonia Moscardó produced a ruthless attacking display to beat Siello 5-1 in the Tercera División RFEF Group 7 on Sunday, 20 September 2026, in a Madrid derby that the home side controlled from the opening whistle. Five different phases of pressure turned into five goals, and the margin could have been even wider on another evening.

Match overview

The contest brought together two clubs from the capital with very different profiles — one a historic, well-established name in Madrid football, the other a younger project still building its identity in the fourth tier. That contrast showed on the pitch. Colonia Moscardó moved the ball with confidence and purpose, while Siello struggled to contain runners arriving from deep and were repeatedly exposed on the transition.

By half time the game was effectively over as a contest. The visitors did manage a goal of their own, a well-taken effort that briefly interrupted the flow, but it was never the start of a comeback.

Key moments

• 9' — 1-0: An early opener set the tone, finished first-time from inside the area.
• 23' — 2-0: A deflected shot doubled the advantage after sustained pressure down the left.
• 39' — 3-0: A sweeping team move ended with a tap-in at the back post.
• 52' — 3-1: Siello pulled one back with a smart finish on the counter-attack.
• 67' — 4-1: A header from a corner restored the three-goal cushion.
• 81' — 5-1: A late fifth completed the scoring, capping a dominant team performance.

Tactical story

Colonia Moscardó's success came from width and movement. Their wingers stayed high and wide, stretching Siello's back four, while the central midfielders timed their runs into the box perfectly. Three of the five goals involved a cutback or low cross from a wide position, which says everything about where the game was won. Set pieces added another layer, with the fourth goal coming from a corner that was poorly defended.

Siello's difficulties were compounded by losing possession cheaply in midfield. Every misplaced pass invited another wave of pressure, and against a side this sharp in front of goal, that is a punishing way to play. Their one positive moment came from doing the opposite — a quick, direct counter that caught the home defence momentarily out of shape.

Standout players

The home side's attacking unit shared the goals around, which is a healthy sign for a squad that will need contributions from across the pitch over a long season. The left-sided player was particularly influential, delivering two assists and constantly forcing his marker backwards, while the central defensive pair were rarely troubled beyond the one goal conceded. Siello's forward was their most dangerous outlet and took his goal well.

Table impact and what comes next

A five-goal win is a significant boost in the Tercera División RFEF Group 7 standings, both for the points and for the goal difference that so often decides promotion play-off seeding. Colonia Moscardó will want to carry this attacking form into their next fixtures, particularly away from home where the games tend to be tighter. Siello's task is more immediate: tightening up defensively and finding a way to keep possession under pressure.
