Match Overview

• Competition: Spanish Tercera División RFEF
• Date: 28 September 2026
• Final score: Bollullos CF 1-2 CD San Roque de Lepe

Key Moments

San Roque opened the scoring against the run of play, punishing a loose pass in midfield with a rapid counter-attack finished off with a confident strike. It was a goal that changed the complexion of the match, forcing Bollullos to commit more bodies forward and leaving space behind.

The hosts levelled before the break, and it was no more than their pressure deserved. A sustained spell of possession ended with the ball worked into the box and converted from close range, sending the teams in level at half-time. The decisive moment arrived in the second half, when San Roque capitalised on a defensive hesitation and slotted home to restore their lead.

Tactical Story

Bollullos built their game around pressing and quick combinations in wide areas, but they struggled to break down a disciplined San Roque block that defended the width of the penalty area well. Their goal came from patience, but too many attacks ended with a hopeful cross.

San Roque de Lepe were ruthless in transition. Their midfield screened effectively and their forward line attacked space aggressively, which is exactly how both goals were created. Late on, they dropped deeper and managed the game with maturity, clearing their lines and slowing the tempo to protect the lead.

Standout Performers

• San Roque de Lepe's forwards — sharp movement and clinical finishing for both goals.
• San Roque's defensive midfield — repeatedly intercepted passes and launched counter-attacks.
• Bollullos's wide midfielders — the hosts' most consistent creative outlet across the 90 minutes.

What It Means for the Table

Three points on the road is a significant result in the Tercera División RFEF, and San Roque de Lepe will take real confidence from a performance that combined defensive discipline with attacking efficiency. For Bollullos CF, the defeat is a frustrating one given the volume of possession they enjoyed, and it underlines the importance of turning territorial control into goals.

The result shifts the momentum in this particular head-to-head, and both clubs will be conscious that the reverse fixture later in the season could carry real weight in the race for promotion places. For now, San Roque can savour a well-executed away win, while Bollullos must regroup quickly.
