Arandina 1-3 CD Cristo Atletico — CD Cristo Atletico delivered a controlled and clinical away performance in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF, defeating Arandina by three goals to one in a match they largely dictated from the opening whistle.

An Away Performance Built on Control

Arandina came into the fixture hoping to use home advantage and a vocal local crowd to impose themselves, but the visitors had other ideas. CD Cristo Atletico pressed high from the first minute, cut off the home side's passing lanes into midfield, and forced Arandina into a long-ball game that their forward line struggled to make stick.

The opening goal arrived after a spell of sustained pressure, with a cleverly worked move on the edge of the box opening up a shooting angle that was taken with real composure. It set the tone: Cristo Atletico were quicker to the ball, sharper in the duels and far more decisive in the final third.

Key Moments

• First goal (Cristo Atletico): A patient build-up ended with a low finish inside the area, capping the visitors' early dominance.
• Second goal (Cristo Atletico): A turnover in midfield was punished instantly, with a fast transition doubling the lead before half time.
• Arandina lifeline: A committed second-half surge produced a goal that briefly gave the home side and their supporters hope.
• Third goal (Cristo Atletico): Any thoughts of a comeback were extinguished late on as a counter-attack sealed the points.

Tactical Breakdown

Cristo Atletico set up in a disciplined 4-2-3-1, with the double pivot shielding the back four and the attacking midfielder given licence to drift between the lines. That structure allowed them to dominate the middle third, and Arandina never really found a way to play through it. Every attempt to build from the back was met with immediate pressure, forcing rushed clearances that came straight back.

Arandina's best spell came immediately after the restart, when a tactical adjustment pushed more bodies forward and delivered the goal that gave the game a brief competitive edge. However, chasing the match against a side so comfortable in transition is a dangerous game, and so it proved: the spaces Arandina left behind were ruthlessly exploited.

Standout Players

The Cristo Atletico midfield was the engine of the win, combining intensity off the ball with real quality on it. Their attacking midfielder was involved in almost everything positive, linking play and creating the openings that led to the goals. Up front, the centre-forward's hold-up play allowed the visitors to relieve pressure whenever Arandina pressed.

For Arandina, the goalscorer was the one bright spot on a difficult afternoon, while the goalkeeper prevented the margin from becoming even wider with a string of saves in the second half.

Table and Season Impact

This is a result that strengthens CD Cristo Atletico's standing in the Tercera División RFEF and reinforces their reputation as one of the more organized sides in the division. Three points away from home, with a two-goal margin, is exactly the kind of result that builds momentum across a long campaign.

Arandina, meanwhile, must regroup quickly. Home defeats in this league are costly, and the defensive issues exposed here — particularly in transition — will need to be addressed if they are to climb the standings in the coming weeks.
