Almeria B 4-0 Atletico Porcuna CF: Ruthless Hosts Make Statement in Tercera División RFEF

Almeria B produced a commanding four-goal performance on Sunday, September 27, 2026, defeating Atletico Porcuna CF 4-0 in the Spanish Tercera División RFEF. The victory at home was built on patience, pressing and clinical finishing, and it gave Almeria B a significant boost in the standings while leaving Atletico Porcuna CF to reflect on a difficult evening.

Match Overview

From the opening minutes, Almeria B controlled possession and territory. The hosts circulated the ball quickly through midfield, forced Atletico Porcuna CF into deep defensive positions and created a steady stream of chances. Porcuna attempted to break forward on the counter, but the visitors struggled to keep the ball long enough to relieve pressure.

The breakthrough arrived before half-time and set the tone for the rest of the contest. Once Almeria B had the lead, they never looked like surrendering it. A second goal early in the second half effectively ended the match as a contest, and the home side added two more late on to complete a convincing scoreline.

Key Moments

• First-half opener: Almeria B's sustained pressure finally told when a quick move down the right ended with a low finish inside the penalty area.
• Quick second: Early in the second half, a turnover in midfield allowed Almeria B to double the advantage with a composed finish.
• Third goal: A well-worked move from the left flank produced the third, as the hosts exposed Porcuna's tiring back line.
• Fourth goal: Late on, Almeria B added gloss to the scoreline with a fourth, capping a dominant team performance.

Atletico Porcuna CF's best moments came in brief spells before the second goal, but they were unable to test the Almeria B goalkeeper consistently. The clean sheet was just reward for a home defence that stayed organized throughout.

Tactical Story

Almeria B's shape allowed them to dominate the middle third. Their midfielders pressed aggressively, won second balls and fed the wide players in space. Porcuna sat deep in a low block, hoping to frustrate the hosts and strike on the break, but the plan unraveled once Almeria B scored first.

The hosts also managed the game well after taking control. Rather than chasing more goals recklessly, they kept their structure, moved the ball from side to side and waited for gaps to appear. That discipline is why the match ended with a four-goal margin and a clean sheet.

Standout Performers

Almeria B's attacking unit shared the responsibility, with sharp movement and link-up play causing problems all night. The midfield set the tempo, while the back line dealt comfortably with Porcuna's limited forward forays. For Atletico Porcuna CF, the goalkeeper and central defenders were among the few players to emerge with credit, despite the scoreline.

Table and Season Impact

Three points and a healthy goal difference are valuable in the Tercera División RFEF, where every result can shape the promotion and relegation picture. For Almeria B, this 4-0 win strengthens their position and builds momentum for the weeks ahead. For Atletico Porcuna CF, the focus will be on regrouping quickly, tightening defensively and finding a response in their next fixture.
