Terrassa produced a dominant 3-0 home victory over UD Logrones B in the Spanish Segunda División RFEF on 18 October 2026, combining early pressure with clinical finishing to secure a comfortable three points.

Match overview

Terrassa controlled the match from the opening stages, pressing UD Logrones B high and forcing mistakes in the visitors' build-up. The home side's attacking movement was too sharp for a young Logrones B defence, and the scoreline could have been even more emphatic given the number of chances created.

UD Logrones B struggled to settle on the ball and were often pinned back in their own half. Terrassa's midfield won the second balls consistently, allowing the home side to sustain pressure and create repeated openings from wide areas.

Key moments

Terrassa took the lead inside the first 20 minutes after a high turnover. A quick pass released the winger down the left, and the cut-back was converted from close range. The second goal arrived before half-time, again from a wide attack, with a header powered past the goalkeeper following a deep cross.

The third goal early in the second half ended any realistic hopes of a comeback. Terrassa won possession in midfield and moved the ball forward with purpose, creating space for a low finish from the edge of the area. UD Logrones B improved slightly after that, but Terrassa's goalkeeper was rarely troubled.

Tactical story

Terrassa's high press was the foundation of the performance. By forcing UD Logrones B to play long or into congested areas, the home side won the ball back quickly and attacked before the visitors could set their defensive shape. Terrassa's full-backs provided constant width, and the midfield trio controlled the rhythm of the game.

UD Logrones B tried to play out from the back but struggled under pressure. Their best moments came from individual runs, but they lacked the sustained possession needed to test Terrassa consistently. The visitors' substitutions added energy, yet the game was already beyond them.

Standout performers

Terrassa's left winger was a constant threat, delivering the cross for the second goal and stretching the defence throughout. The central midfielder dictated play and won several important tackles, while the centre-forward linked play well and capped the performance with a goal. UD Logrones B's goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score down, and their young midfielder showed composure in difficult circumstances.

League impact

The three points and clean sheet strengthen Terrassa's position in the Spanish Segunda División RFEF standings and provide a confidence boost after a demanding run of fixtures. For UD Logrones B, the defeat highlights the challenges of competing against experienced opposition, but the young side will take valuable lessons from the match. Terrassa will now look to carry the same intensity into their next league outing.
