Match Overview

The Spanish U19 League is a highly competitive environment where top academies develop future stars, and this match showcased the contrast in quality on the day. UD Logrones U19, backed by home support, worked hard to stay in the game but struggled to maintain possession against their technically gifted opponents.

Key Moments

Real Sociedad took the lead in the 23rd minute when their attacking midfielder played a one-two on the edge of the box and slotted a low shot into the bottom corner. Logrones responded well and equalised in the 38th minute through a well-taken penalty after a foul in the area. The half-time score of 1-1 gave the home side hope.

However, Real Sociedad stepped up a gear after the break. They regained the lead in the 57th minute with a towering header from a corner. The third goal arrived in the 74th minute, a sweeping team move that ended with a composed finish from the striker. Logrones pushed for a consolation but found the visitors' defence organised and resolute.

Tactical Story

The away side's movement off the ball was a class apart in the second half.
