• 61' – Hugo López doubles the lead: A fast break ended with a calm finish past the goalkeeper.

Tactical Story

Solares lined up in a 4-3-3, trying to use width to stretch the Compostela defense. However, Compostela's 4-4-2 mid-block was compact and disciplined, forcing Solares into hopeful crosses. Compostela looked dangerous on the counter-attack, and their two goals came from quick transitions. Solares' midfield struggled to create clear chances, and their striker was isolated for long periods.

Standout Players

Pablo Míguez was the standout for Compostela, not only for his goal but for his all-round midfield display. Hugo López was a constant threat with his pace. For Solares, defender Álvaro Ruiz worked hard but could not prevent the defeat.

What the Result Means

Compostela climb up the U19 league table, boosting their chances of a high finish. Solares remain in the lower half and need to improve their attacking output. Next week, Compostela host a top-four side, while Solares face a tricky away fixture. This win will give Compostela confidence as they aim to push for promotion or a playoff spot.

The result highlights the importance of taking chances, as Solares had periods of possession but lacked the final touch.
