Alcobendas CF U19 and Las Rozas U19 played out a 0-0 draw in the Spanish U19 League on Sunday night, with both goalkeepers producing important saves in a tightly contested match. The point keeps both sides in the middle of a competitive youth division, but neither team found the cutting edge needed to take all three points.

The opening exchanges were cautious, with both sides looking to keep their shape and avoid early mistakes. Alcobendas CF U19 had the first meaningful chance in the 12th minute, but their forward dragged a shot wide from the edge of the box. Las Rozas U19 responded with a well-worked free-kick routine in the 27th minute, forcing a smart save from the Alcobendas goalkeeper.

Match Overview

The game developed into a midfield battle, with little space available in the final third. The second half followed a similar pattern, though both teams pushed a little more after the hour mark. Las Rozas U19 had a header cleared off the line in the 71st minute, and Alcobendas were denied by a fine save in the 88th minute. Despite late pressure from both sides, neither could find a breakthrough.

Tactical Story

The midfield battle was key, with neither side able to establish sustained control.

As the game wore on, Las Rozas looked more likely to score from set pieces, while Alcobendas carried a threat on the counter. The substitutions made by both coaches added energy but did not change the overall pattern. In the end, the defences and goalkeepers deserved credit for a disciplined clean sheet.

Standout Performers

Álvaro Ruiz, the Alcobendas CF U19 goalkeeper, made two important saves and commanded his area well. Javier Moreno of Las Rozas U19 was equally impressive, dealing confidently with crosses and late pressure. In midfield, both captains set the tone with composed passing and disciplined defensive work.

Both teams will take positives from their defensive organization, but they will also know that more creativity in the final third is needed to climb the standings. The result sets up an interesting rematch later in the season.
