Fundación Albacete Women produced a statement performance in the Spanish Segunda Futfem on 4 October 2026, brushing aside Fundación CD Tenerife B Women 4-0 in a match that showcased the hosts' attacking fluency and their growing credentials in the division. Two goals in each half told the story of a team in complete command of its own patch.

It was a result that underlined the difference in momentum between the two sides: Albacete, sharp and confident in front of goal, against a Tenerife B outfit that competed well in spells but lacked the bite to punish the hosts' occasional lapses.

Match Overview

• Competition: Spanish Segunda Futfem
• Home side: Fundación Albacete Women
• Away side: Fundación CD Tenerife B Women
• Final score: Fundación Albacete Women 4–0 Fundación CD Tenerife B Women
• Kick-off: 17:00, 4 October 2026

Albacete started with purpose, pressing high and using the width of the pitch to stretch a Tenerife B defence that looked uncomfortable from the very first minutes. The opening goal arrived early, and with it came a visible shift in the visitors' body language.

Key Moments

The breakthrough came from a well-worked move down the right. A quick one-two opened space at the byline, and the pull-back was converted first time from twelve yards. The second goal followed shortly before the break, this time from a set piece — an inswinging corner flicked in at the near post as the Tenerife B marking dissolved.

After half-time, the visitors briefly rallied, pushing their wingers higher and enjoying a five-minute spell of possession in Albacete's half. It was the closest they came to a foothold. Albacete absorbed the pressure and then went straight back up the other end, adding a third with a crisp finish on the counter and a fourth from a long-range strike that flew into the top corner.

Tactical Story

Albacete's shape was fluid and purposeful. Rather than committing players forward recklessly, they built patiently through midfield and then accelerated sharply once they reached the final third. Their overloads on the flanks consistently outnumbered Tenerife B's wide defenders, creating a stream of crossing opportunities.

Defensively, the hosts pressed in coordinated bursts rather than individually, forcing Tenerife B into rushed, vertical passes that were easily intercepted. The clean sheet was as much a product of that collective discipline as it was of the back four's individual quality.

Standout Performers

• Albacete's wide forward — a constant menace, contributing a goal and two assists with her direct running.
• Albacete's midfield anchor — broke up play repeatedly and dictated the tempo of the game from deep.
• Albacete's centre-forward — led the line superbly, holding the ball up and bringing others into play.
• Tenerife B's goalkeeper — brave and busy, making several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat.

What It Means for the Table

Three points and a four-goal swing give Fundación Albacete Women a healthy boost in the Segunda Futfem standings, strengthening their position among the division's more ambitious sides. For a club with a proud history in Spanish women's football, this kind of convincing home win is exactly the foundation on which a promotion challenge is built.

For Fundación CD Tenerife B Women, the challenge lies in consistency. Reserve sides inevitably experience volatile results as players move between squads, but the defensive organisation shown in the middle third of this match suggests the raw materials are there. Turning that into points, particularly away from home, is the next step.
