SD Ordenes produced a dominant home display on Sunday evening, cruising to a 3-0 victory over Puebla FC in the Spanish Regional League. The win extends Ordenes’ strong run of form and highlights their attacking potential in front of their own supporters.

Puebla FC, meanwhile, endured a difficult outing, struggling to contain Ordenes’ fluid forward line and failing to register a meaningful shot on target until late in the second half.

Match Overview

The hosts took control from the opening minutes. SD Ordenes pressed high and moved the ball quickly through midfield, forcing Puebla FC into a defensive shell. The breakthrough came in the 22nd minute when Iago Varela collected a pass on the edge of the box, shifted the ball onto his left foot, and curled a beautiful effort into the top corner. The home crowd barely had time to sit down before Varela doubled his tally in the 58th minute, finishing off a sweeping counter-attack with a composed side-footed strike.

Puebla attempted to respond, pushing more players forward, but their efforts left gaps at the back. Brais Castro capitalised in the 74th minute, racing onto a through ball and calmly chipping the onrushing goalkeeper to make it 3-0. From there, Ordenes managed the game expertly, keeping possession and limiting Puebla to speculative efforts from distance.

Tactical Story

SD Ordenes lined up in an adventurous 4-2-3-1, with their full-backs pushing high to overload the flanks. The midfield pair of Xurxo Lema and Antón Seoane controlled the centre of the pitch, recycling possession and launching quick attacks. Puebla FC tried to sit deep and hit on the break, but their transitions were too slow, allowing Ordenes to recover their defensive shape. When Puebla did venture forward, Ordenes’ centre-backs stood firm, winning headers and clearing danger with authority.

Standout Players

Iago Varela was the star of the show, his two goals demonstrating both technical quality and intelligent movement. Brais Castro’s pace and composure for the third goal were equally impressive, while midfielders Xurxo Lema and Antón Seoane dictated the tempo with mature performances. For Puebla FC, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score respectable, but the outfield players struggled to make an impact.

Season Impact

This 3-0 win reinforces SD Ordenes’ ambitions in the Spanish Regional League, moving them up the standings and building valuable momentum. Puebla FC will need to regroup quickly, as consecutive defensive lapses could see them dragged into a relegation battle. The clean sheet was particularly pleasing for Ordenes, who have now kept opponents scoreless in consecutive home fixtures.
