SD Dubra 0-2 Negreira: Clinical Away Display Secures Three Points

Negreira produced a composed away performance to beat SD Dubra 2-0 in the Spanish Regional League on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The match, played at 18:00 local time, was decided by two well-taken goals and a disciplined defensive effort that kept the home side scoreless.

SD Dubra had moments of possession but struggled to turn territorial advantage into clear chances. Negreira, meanwhile, were sharper in the final third and managed the game intelligently after taking the lead.

Match Overview

The first half was competitive, with Dubra trying to build patiently from the back and Negreira pressing aggressively in midfield. The visitors’ organisation made it difficult for Dubra to find rhythm, and whenever the home side lost the ball, Negreira looked dangerous on the break.

After opening the scoring, Negreira grew in confidence. They defended their box well, limited second balls, and used their wide players to relieve pressure. Dubra pushed more players forward after the interval but could not find a way through.

Key Moments

• 22nd minute: Negreira took the lead when Brais Lema latched onto a through ball and finished low past the goalkeeper.
• 58th minute: SD Dubra won a penalty, but the Negreira goalkeeper produced a crucial save to preserve the clean sheet.
• 67th minute: Negreira doubled their advantage as Uxío Souto curled a shot into the far corner from the edge of the area.
• 85th minute: Dubra pushed bodies forward, but Negreira’s centre-backs dealt with a series of crosses to close out the win.

Tactical Story

Negreira set up in a disciplined 4-2-3-1, with their midfield screen protecting the back four and forcing Dubra to play sideways. Their transitions were direct and effective, especially when Lema and Souto combined in the attacking third.

SD Dubra tried to overload the flanks and deliver early crosses, but the final ball was often lacking. Their missed penalty was the turning point in the second half; had it gone in, the match could have taken a different direction. Instead, Negreira stayed calm and struck again soon after.

Standout Players

Brais Lema was a constant threat with his movement and gave Negreira the ideal start. Uxío Souto added quality in the final third and scored the decisive second goal. The Negreira goalkeeper also deserves credit for saving the penalty, while SD Dubra’s midfield worked hard but lacked support in attack.

What the Result Means

Negreira leave with a valuable away win and a clean sheet, strengthening their position in the Spanish Regional League table. SD Dubra remain with work to do, particularly in front of goal. The home side showed enough fight, but they will need to convert pressure into points in their next fixtures.
