AE Prat and CE Sabadell B shared the points in a 2-2 draw in the Spanish Regional League on October 18, 2026. Sabadell B twice took the lead, but Prat showed character to fight back on both occasions, earning a point with a late equaliser in an entertaining local contest.

Match overview

Sabadell B started well and opened the scoring after a quick move through midfield caught AE Prat’s defence off guard. Prat responded by increasing their possession and pushing their full-backs higher. The equaliser arrived before half-time, with Prat rewarding their improved pressure and finishing from close range.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Sabadell B regained the lead after a sharp transition, but Prat refused to fold and continued to create chances. The late equaliser came from sustained pressure and gave the home side a deserved share of the points. Both teams had opportunities to win it in the final minutes, but the draw was a fair outcome.

Key moments

• Sabadell B open the scoring: A well-timed run and composed finish gave the visitors an early advantage.
• Prat equalise: The home side levelled before the break after building pressure down the left.
• Sabadell B lead again: A quick counter-attack restored the visitors’ advantage in the second half.
• Late Prat equaliser: AE Prat found a second equaliser late on, converting a chance created by sustained attacking pressure.

Tactical story

AE Prat controlled more of the ball and tried to pin Sabadell B back with wide overloads and quick switches of play. Their midfield worked hard to win second balls, and the equalisers came from their ability to keep attacks alive. However, Prat’s attacking ambition left them vulnerable, and Sabadell B were consistently dangerous on the break.

Sabadell B’s plan revolved around compact defending and fast transitions. They were happy to concede possession in deeper areas and then attack the space behind Prat’s full-backs. Both goals followed that pattern. In the end, Prat’s persistence and Sabadell B’s counter-attacking threat produced a balanced contest that neither team could definitively control.

Standout performers

AE Prat’s playmaker was central to their comeback, constantly finding pockets of space and linking midfield with attack. The home side’s left-back also impressed with his energy and delivery. For Sabadell B, the centre-forward caused problems throughout with intelligent movement, while their goalkeeper made a string of saves to keep the visitors level late on.

Season impact

The point keeps both teams involved in the Regional League picture, though each will feel they could have taken more. AE Prat’s resilience will please their supporters, while Sabadell B will take confidence from creating chances away from home. With the margin between the sides so small, the draw reflects the competitive nature of the division.
