Dos Hermanas (W) produced a commanding away performance to beat Ciudad Cadiz (W) 3-0 in the Spanish Ladies Premier League C on Sunday evening, scoring in key moments and controlling the game after taking the lead.

Match Overview

Dos Hermanas started with intent, pressing high and forcing Ciudad Cadiz into several early turnovers. The visitors opened the scoring midway through the first half after a quick move down the left ended with a low finish into the bottom corner. Cadiz tried to respond through set pieces and long balls forward, but Dos Hermanas defended comfortably and kept the hosts at arm’s length for much of the opening period.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Dos Hermanas doubled their lead shortly after the restart, capitalising on a misplaced pass and converting from the edge of the box. The third goal arrived in the closing stages, a reward for the visitors’ persistent pressure and superior control of midfield. Cadiz pushed late in search of a consolation goal, but Dos Hermanas managed the game well and kept a clean sheet.

Key Moments

The first goal settled the visitors’ nerves and forced Cadiz to chase the game. A second goal early in the second half proved decisive, draining the hosts’ momentum and allowing Dos Hermanas to dictate the tempo. The third goal, scored after a sustained spell of possession, completed a professional away display.

Cadiz’s best chances came from wide areas and set pieces, but the home side lacked the final touch in front of goal. Dos Hermanas’ goalkeeper made a routine save late on to preserve the clean sheet, while the visitors’ midfield continued to win the majority of second balls and loose challenges.

Tactical Story

Dos Hermanas set up with a compact midfield and looked to win the ball back quickly in the opposition half. Their pressing structure forced Cadiz into long passes, which the visitors’ centre-backs dealt with comfortably. In possession, Dos Hermanas used quick switches of play to stretch the home defence and create space for runners from midfield.

Ciudad Cadiz struggled to build rhythm from the back. Their attempts to play through the middle were often intercepted, and when they did get into wide areas, the final cross was either overhit or cleared. The home side improved slightly after half-time but could not find a way back into the contest once the second goal went in.

Standout Performers

Dos Hermanas’ central midfielder was the driving force behind the win, consistently breaking up play and setting the tempo of attacks. The visitors’ forward line also impressed with sharp movement and clinical finishing, while their full-backs provided constant width. For Cadiz, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the scoreline respectable, and the captain worked hard in midfield despite limited support.

What the Result Means

The three points strengthen Dos Hermanas’ position in the Spanish Ladies Premier League C standings and boost their confidence ahead of a demanding run of fixtures. For Ciudad Cadiz (W), the defeat highlights the need for more cutting edge in the final third and greater composure in possession. Both sides will take lessons from the match, but it is Dos Hermanas who will travel home with the greater satisfaction after a convincing 3-0 victory.
