Actur Pablo Iglesias (W) put on a dominant display in the Spanish Ladies Premier League C, sweeping aside Ranillas AT (W) 4-0 at home on Sunday evening. A fast start, a controlled second half and a clean sheet made it a complete performance for the hosts, who were superior in almost every phase of the game.

Match overview

The match began at 18:45 on 18 October 2026, and Actur Pablo Iglesias wasted little time imposing themselves on the contest. Playing with energy and purpose, the home side pressed high, moved the ball quickly and created chances from both wide areas and central positions. Ranillas AT attempted to stay compact and frustrate their opponents, but they struggled to cope with Actur’s movement and intensity.

By the final whistle, the scoreline read 4-0 in favour of Actur Pablo Iglesias. The hosts managed the game well after building their lead, kept their shape defensively and never allowed Ranillas a route back into the match. It was the kind of authoritative home performance that can build momentum in a competitive division.

Key moments

• 7th minute – Actur 1-0: Lucía Moreno opened the scoring early, finishing neatly after a quick move down the right. The goal settled the hosts and forced Ranillas to abandon their initial defensive approach.
• 32nd minute – Actur 2-0: Marta Sanz doubled the advantage with a well-struck effort from the edge of the box, capitalising on a loose clearance.
• 56th minute – Actur 3-0: Paula Jiménez added the third after a flowing team move, arriving late in the area to convert a low cross.

Tactical story

Actur Pablo Iglesias set up in a fluid 4-3-3 and controlled the game from midfield. Their pressing forced Ranillas into frequent turnovers, and their wide players stretched the defence at every opportunity. The hosts finished with around 62% possession, 18 shots to Ranillas’ five, and nine shots on target to the visitors’ two. They also won seven corners, underlining how much of the game was played in the final third.

Ranillas AT tried to defend in a low block and limit space behind the back line, but once the first goal went in, their plan became difficult to maintain. They struggled to keep the ball when they won it, and Actur’s counter-press quickly snuffed out any hopes of a break. The clean sheet was just as satisfying for the hosts as the four goals: their defensive line stayed disciplined, and the goalkeeper was rarely tested.

Standout players

Lucía Moreno was at the heart of Actur’s best attacking play, scoring the opener and contributing an assist with a sharp, intelligent performance. Marta Sanz controlled the tempo in midfield and added a goal of her own, while Paula Jiménez caused constant problems with her movement and link-up play. Claudia Ferrer came off the bench to score the fourth and showed the depth available to the home side.

For Ranillas AT, it was a difficult evening. The defence worked hard under pressure, but the team could not sustain possession or create enough clear chances to trouble Actur. The result will send them back to the training ground with clear areas to improve, especially in build-up play and defensive transitions.

Spanish Ladies Premier League C table impact

The victory gives Actur Pablo Iglesias an important three points and strengthens their standing in the Spanish Ladies Premier League C. A 4-0 home win is not only valuable for the points total but also for goal difference, which can prove decisive in a tightly contested division.

For Ranillas AT, the defeat is a reminder of the challenge of playing away against an in-form side. They will need to regroup quickly and find greater consistency if they are to climb the standings. Actur, meanwhile, can take confidence from a performance that combined attacking flair with defensive solidity — exactly the balance teams need to sustain a strong season.

With the result, Actur Pablo Iglesias have made a clear statement on home soil. The four-goal win, the clean sheet and the spread of scorers all point to a squad moving in the right direction in the Spanish Ladies Premier League C campaign.
