Tactical Story

ND Beltinci's compact shape and quick attacking transitions caused problems for NK Dren Vrhnika throughout the match. The visitors were content to defend in numbers when required, then break forward with purpose to create scoring opportunities. That balance between defensive discipline and offensive efficiency ultimately made the difference.

NK Dren Vrhnika showed plenty of character in response, pushing players forward in search of an equaliser, but they struggled to break down the well-organised Beltinci defence in the final stages.
