• 42nd minute: Limbus Pekre equalised with a close-range finish following a corner.

Tactical story

Limbus Pekre's second-half improvement came from a tactical shift. They pushed their midfield higher, closed down Carda Martjanci's deep-lying playmaker, and forced turnovers in dangerous areas. The equaliser just before half-time gave them momentum, and they used it well after the restart. Their wide players stretched the home defence, creating space for late runs into the box.

Carda Martjanci had success early by attacking quickly on the break, but as the game wore on, they struggled to maintain possession. Pekre's pressing forced errors and limited the hosts' ability to build from the back. The third goal was the result of sustained pressure and intelligent movement.

Standout performers

Limbus Pekre's attacking midfielder was at the heart of their best play, contributing a goal and an assist. The central defender was solid throughout, winning key headers and reading danger well. For Carda Martjanci, the right winger was their most dangerous outlet, especially in the first half, while the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the scoreline respectable.

Season impact

The win lifts Limbus Pekre's confidence in the Slovenia 3. Liga and highlights their ability to perform away from home. For Carda Martjanci, the defeat is a missed opportunity to build momentum, and they will need to improve their second-half concentration. Both teams will look ahead to the next round with important lessons from this contest.
