ZFK Loznica (W) claimed a commanding 3-0 away victory over ZFK Radnicki 2012 (W) in the Serbian Women's League on Saturday evening, delivering a disciplined and clinical performance that underlined their quality in both boxes. After a tight opening half-hour, Loznica took control with a goal shortly before the break and added two more after the interval to secure a comfortable win.

Match overview

The first half was competitive, with Radnicki 2012 pressing energetically and looking to disrupt Loznica's rhythm. Clear chances were limited, but Loznica's patience paid off when they broke the deadlock before half-time. The goal changed the complexion of the match, forcing the hosts to chase the game after the restart. That suited Loznica, who used their pace on the counter to devastating effect.

Two second-half goals put the result beyond doubt. Radnicki 2012 kept working but struggled to create clear openings against a well-organised defensive unit. Loznica managed the closing stages professionally and could have added to their tally.

Key moments

• 38th minute: ZFK Loznica took the lead with a well-placed shot after a patient passing sequence.
• 55th minute: The visitors doubled their advantage, finishing off a quick counter-attack down the left.
• 71st minute: A third goal followed from a set-piece, with a header powered past the goalkeeper.
• 84th minute: Radnicki 2012 created their best chance of the second half, but the effort was cleared off the line.

Tactical story

Loznica's compact 4-4-2 shape made it difficult for Radnicki 2012 to find space through the middle. The visitors defended with discipline, kept their lines close together, and forced the hosts wide. Once they won possession, they transitioned quickly, often finding their strikers with direct passes. Radnicki 2012 tried to press high in the second half, but that left gaps at the back that Loznica exploited ruthlessly.

The key to the away win was efficiency. Loznica did not dominate possession for long periods, but they created the better chances and took them. Their set-piece delivery was also a constant threat, and the third goal effectively ended any hopes of a home comeback.

Standout performers

Loznica's central midfielder controlled the tempo and was involved in the build-up to two of the goals. The left winger was a constant outlet on the counter, while the centre-back who scored the third goal delivered a commanding defensive display. For Radnicki 2012, the goalkeeper made several important stops to keep the score respectable, and their young midfielder showed promise with some neat link-up play.

Season impact

The win gives ZFK Loznica (W) an important boost in the Serbian Women's League and reinforces their reputation as a strong away side. For ZFK Radnicki 2012 (W), the defeat highlights the challenge of turning effort into goals against well-drilled opposition. The hosts will need to find more creativity in the final third as they look to climb the table.
