Cukaricki U19 0-0 IMT Novi Beograd U19: Goalless Draw in Serbian U19 League

Cukaricki U19 and IMT Novi Beograd U19 shared the points after a 0-0 draw in the Serbian U19 League on 25 October 2026. The match was a tight, tactical contest in which both defences outperformed the attacks, leaving neither side able to claim the win despite moments of promise at both ends.

Match Overview

The 20:30 kick-off produced an evenly matched first half. Cukaricki U19 tried to dictate play from midfield and use their full-backs to stretch the opposition, while IMT Novi Beograd U19 defended with discipline and looked to hit on the counter. Clear chances were rare, but the intensity was high, with both teams competing strongly for second balls.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Cukaricki pushed more players forward in search of a winner, but IMT’s defensive line held firm. The visitors had their moments on the break, yet the final ball was often cut out before it could reach a dangerous area. As the match wore on, both sides seemed to accept that a single mistake could decide it, and the game ended level.

Key Moments

• First-half header: Cukaricki U19 created the best chance of the opening period from a cross, but the effort went wide.
• IMT counter-attack: The visitors broke quickly midway through the second half, only to be denied by a timely defensive challenge.
• Goalkeeping composure: Both goalkeepers dealt confidently with crosses and set pieces in the closing stages.
• Late pressure: Cukaricki forced a series of corners near the end, but IMT defended them comfortably.

Tactical Story

Cukaricki U19’s game plan revolved around possession and patient build-up. They tried to draw IMT Novi Beograd U19 out of their defensive shape, but the visitors remained compact and well-organised. IMT’s midfield worked hard to close down space, making it difficult for Cukaricki to find central passing lanes.

IMT Novi Beograd U19 were content to defend and counter. Their best moments came when they won the ball in midfield and moved it forward quickly, but they lacked the final quality in the attacking third. The draw was a fair reflection of a match in which both teams defended better than they attacked.

What the Result Means

The point keeps both teams moving in the Serbian U19 League standings, although both will feel they could have pushed harder for a win. Cukaricki U19 will be frustrated by their inability to turn possession into clear chances, while IMT Novi Beograd U19 can take positives from a solid away clean sheet. The result underlines how competitive the U19 level can be, with fine margins often deciding the outcome.
