The breakthrough came in the 23rd minute when Stefan Mitrović latched onto a through ball and finished calmly. Zemun struggled to keep possession, and their defensive frailties were exposed again just before half-time when Aleksandar Jovanović doubled the lead with a header from a corner. The second half was more of the same, with Zeleznicar adding a third through Nemanja Nikolić's solo effort. Zemun never looked like mounting a comeback, and the visitors comfortably saw out the game.

Tactical Story

The tactical discipline of the visitors was impressive, and their clinical finishing made the difference.

Season Impact

With this win, Zeleznicar climb to sixth in the Mozzart Bet Superliga standings, boosting their hopes of a European spot. Zemun remain second from bottom and face a relegation battle. The head-to-head record between the two clubs now leans toward Zeleznicar, who have won their last two meetings. Zemun's manager will need to address his team's defensive issues quickly.
