Radnik Surdulica and Partizan Belgrade played out a remarkable 4-4 draw in the Serbian Mozzart Bet Superliga, delivering one of the most dramatic scorelines of the season. Eight goals, multiple lead changes, and a stoppage-time equaliser made this a match that will be remembered long after the final whistle.

Match Overview

Partizan began as favourites and looked every bit the title challenger in the opening stages, racing into an early two-goal lead. Their passing was sharp, their movement was fluid, and Radnik struggled to cope with the pace of the attack. But the home side responded with astonishing character, scoring three times before half-time to turn the match completely on its head.

The second half continued in the same breathless fashion. Partizan equalised, Radnik restored their advantage, and just when it seemed the hosts would claim a famous victory, Partizan found a late leveller. The 4-4 result left both teams with mixed emotions: Radnik with pride and a valuable point, Partizan with frustration at dropping two points in the title race.

Tactical Story

Both teams contributed to the chaos with high defensive lines and aggressive pressing. Partizan dominated possession for long stretches and created chances through their wide players, but they left too much space behind their full-backs. Radnik exploited that space brilliantly, attacking directly and committing numbers forward whenever they won the ball.

Set pieces also played a major role. Radnik scored from a corner and caused problems with every delivery into the box, while Partizan’s defending from dead balls looked uncertain throughout. In midfield, the game was played at a frantic pace, with turnovers leading to chances at both ends. It was entertaining for neutrals, but a nightmare for both coaches.

Standout Players

Radnik’s forward line deserves enormous credit for refusing to fold after going two goals down. The home side’s No. 9 was a constant threat, holding the ball up and bringing others into play, while the midfield runners caused Partizan problems all evening. Partizan’s attacking players showed their quality in the final third, but their defenders struggled with Radnik’s direct approach.

The Partizan goalkeeper made a few important saves, though he was left exposed by his defence. Radnik’s captain led by example, driving the team forward and winning crucial duels in the middle of the park.

What It Means for the Table

For Partizan Belgrade, this is a painful result in the Serbian Mozzart Bet Superliga title race. Dropping points against a side fighting lower down the table can be decisive over the course of a season, especially when the top teams are separated by fine margins. Radnik Surdulica, meanwhile, will treat the draw as a morale-boosting performance, even if they will feel they could have taken all three points.

The result adds another twist to the standings and shows that no match in the Serbian top flight can be taken for granted. Partizan must tighten up defensively, while Radnik can take confidence from their attacking display into their next fixtures.
