FK IMT Belgrad came from behind to beat Novi Pazar 2-1 in the Serbian Mozzart Bet Superliga on 18 October 2026, producing a composed away display capped by a decisive second-half goal. The visitors grew into the game after conceding early and found the answers needed to take all three points.

Match overview

Novi Pazar made the brighter start and were rewarded for their early pressure with the opening goal. The home side pressed aggressively and forced FK IMT into a number of rushed clearances, but they could not build on the advantage. IMT gradually settled, began to keep possession more effectively and equalised before half-time with a well-timed run into the penalty area.

The second half was more balanced, with both teams aware of the importance of the next goal. IMT’s substitutions added energy in midfield, and the visitors began to find space between the lines. The winning goal arrived after a period of sustained pressure, leaving Novi Pazar to chase the game in the final stages without success.

Key moments

• Novi Pazar took an early lead after forcing a mistake in IMT’s defensive third.
• IMT equalised before half-time with a composed finish following a quick attacking move.
• Both goalkeepers made important saves early in the second half.
• IMT’s substitutes changed the tempo and helped create the winning goal.
• Novi Pazar pushed forward late but could not find an equaliser.

Tactical story

Novi Pazar’s early intensity unsettled IMT, but their failure to control possession after scoring allowed the visitors back into the contest. IMT adjusted by pressing higher in central areas and forcing Novi Pazar to play long, which reduced the home side’s attacking rhythm. The winning goal came from exactly that pattern: IMT won the ball back quickly, moved it through midfield and attacked the space left by Novi Pazar’s advanced full-backs.

Standout performers

IMT’s midfield anchor was instrumental in turning the game around, breaking up play and distributing calmly under pressure. The substitute who contributed to the winning goal made an immediate impact, while the goalkeeper produced a key second-half save. For Novi Pazar, the opening goal was well taken, but the team’s defensive spacing became a problem as the match progressed.

Season impact

This is a valuable away win for FK IMT Belgrad in the Serbian Mozzart Bet Superliga and a result that could boost confidence in the coming weeks. For Novi Pazar, the defeat is a missed opportunity to build momentum at home. The 2-1 scoreline reflects a match of fine margins, but IMT’s ability to adapt after a difficult start proved decisive.
