FK Loznica claimed a thrilling 3-2 away victory over Jedinstvo UB in the Serbian Mozzart Bet Prva Liga on 22 September 2026, winning a five-goal contest that swung one way and then the other. The visitors showed composure in the final stages to take all three points from a difficult away fixture.

Match overview

Jedinstvo UB began the match with plenty of possession, looking to control the tempo through midfield and create chances from wide areas. But FK Loznica were dangerous from the start on the counter-attack, and they took the lead with a clinical finish against the run of play. The second half was chaotic in the best possible way. Loznica regained the lead, Jedinstvo equalised again, and the match appeared to be heading for a draw. Tactical story

Jedinstvo UB controlled long spells of possession, but they were vulnerable to quick transitions. FK Loznica deliberately sat deeper at times, inviting pressure before launching fast breaks through their wingers and forwards. That strategy worked perfectly for the opening goal and again for the late winner.

Jedinstvo’s set-piece threat was clear, and their equaliser from a corner showed their aerial strength. However, they struggled to manage Loznica’s direct running in behind. The away side’s midfield also did well to slow the game down when they needed to, taking the sting out of Jedinstvo’s momentum after each goal.

Standout performers

FK Loznica’s forwards were the difference-makers, combining speed with ruthless finishing. Their goalkeeper also made a crucial save in the second half to keep the score level at a key moment. For Jedinstvo UB, the creative midfielder was excellent, constantly finding space and delivering dangerous set pieces, while their striker worked tirelessly but was let down by the team’s defensive lapses.

Standings and season impact

The 3-2 win is a significant result for FK Loznica, who will climb the Mozzart Bet Prva Liga table and gain confidence from winning a high-scoring away match. For Jedinstvo UB, it is a painful defeat: they scored twice at home but conceded three and missed the chance to build momentum. In a league where every point matters, Loznica’s ability to score late could prove to be a major asset, while Jedinstvo must address their defensive concentration if they are to challenge at the top end of the table.
