FK Vozdovac Beograd and FK Loznica shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in the Serbian Mozzart Bet Prva Liga on 18 October 2026, with both sides scoring in a tightly contested evening fixture.

The 20:00 kick-off produced a match of fine margins, tactical discipline, and a few clear chances at either end. Vozdovac enjoyed more of the ball for long spells, but Loznica’s organisation and counter-attacking threat ensured the home side could never fully control the game.

Match overview

FK Vozdovac Beograd started the brighter of the two teams, moving the ball quickly through midfield and looking to create openings down the flanks. Loznica sat compactly, denying central space and forcing Vozdovac into wider areas. That pattern defined much of the first half, with the home side probing but struggling to find a clean sight of goal.

The match opened up after the interval. Vozdovac’s pressure eventually told, but Loznica responded well and found an equaliser that their improved second-half display deserved. Neither team was able to find a winner in the final stages, despite a late flurry of set-pieces and crosses.

Key moments

• 34th minute: FK Vozdovac Beograd broke the deadlock with a move that started on the left and ended with a composed finish inside the penalty area.
• 52nd minute: Loznica forced a smart save from the Vozdovac goalkeeper after a quick break through midfield.
• 67th minute: FK Loznica equalised from a well-delivered cross, with the attacker arriving at the back post to level the score.
• 81st minute: Vozdovac headed a corner narrowly wide as the home side pushed for a winner.
• 90th minute: Loznica cleared a dangerous free-kick to secure a hard-earned away point.

Tactical story

Vozdovac’s approach was built on possession and patient build-up, with their midfielders looking to switch play and open gaps in Loznica’s defensive block. The home full-backs pushed forward regularly, but that also left space for Loznica to exploit on the counter. The visitors defended with discipline and grew in confidence as the match wore on.

The equaliser changed the tactical picture. Vozdovac increased the tempo and committed more numbers forward, while Loznica dropped slightly deeper and looked to protect the point. In the final 15 minutes, the game became a battle of set-pieces and second balls, but neither side could produce the decisive moment.

Standout performers

Vozdovac’s midfield dictated much of the play and consistently looked to create chances, while their goalkeeper made an important save at 1-0. Loznica’s back line deserved credit for withstanding long spells of pressure, and their goalscorer produced the key moment of the visitors’ performance. Both teams showed the kind of commitment that will be needed in a demanding Prva Liga season.

What the result means

A point apiece leaves both FK Vozdovac Beograd and FK Loznica with something to build on, though Vozdovac may feel they did enough to win. For Loznica, the draw underlines their ability to compete away from home and recover from conceding first. In a league where fine margins shape the table, this was a result that could matter in the wider promotion and mid-table picture.
