• Competition: Serbian Mozzart Bet Prva Liga
• Date: 22 September 2026
• Final Score: Napredak Kruševac 1-4 Semendrija 1924

The match began with Napredak looking to impose themselves through possession, but Semendrija 1924 were compact and dangerous on the break. The opening goal arrived in the 11th minute when Nemanja Petrović latched onto a loose ball just outside the box and fired a low shot into the bottom corner. The early breakthrough forced Napredak to push more players forward, which only increased the space available to the visitors.

Semendrija doubled their lead in the 29th minute. A quick turnover in midfield sent Miloš Jovanović racing through the middle, and the striker calmly rounded the goalkeeper before rolling the ball into an empty net. Napredak’s defenders appealed for offside, but the goal stood, and the away side took a commanding advantage into the interval.

Key Moments

• 11th minute – Semendrija 1-0: Nemanja Petrović opened the scoring with a precise low strike from the edge of the area.
• 29th minute – Semendrija 2-0: Miloš Jovanović finished a rapid counter-attack after breaking clear of the home defence.

• 88th minute – Semendrija seal it: Luka Stanković completed the scoring with a composed finish from inside the box.

Napredak’s penalty early in the second half briefly changed the mood inside the stadium. Đorđević sent the goalkeeper the wrong way from twelve yards, and for a short period the hosts pressed with renewed urgency. But Semendrija 1924 responded exactly as a promotion-chasing side should: they slowed the tempo, regained their shape, and then struck again through Jovanović.

Tactical Story

Napredak Kruševac set up with a possession-oriented approach, looking to overload the midfield and feed their wide players in advanced positions. They created a handful of half-chances, but their final pass was often delayed, allowing Semendrija’s defenders to recover. The home side’s high defensive line also proved costly, especially against Jovanović’s pace.

Semendrija 1924 were happy to concede territory and attack in bursts. Their midfield screen protected the back four, while the front three moved the ball quickly into the channels. Each of the visitors’ goals came from a different phase of play: a set-piece scramble, a counter-attack, a left-sided combination, and a late break that exposed Napredak’s fading shape. It was a complete away performance in the Mozzart Bet Prva Liga.

Standout Players

Miloš Jovanović was the clear man of the match, scoring twice and constantly troubling Napredak’s centre-backs with his movement. Nemanja Petrović controlled the tempo in midfield and scored the important opening goal, while Luka Stanković added the finishing touch late on. Semendrija’s goalkeeper also made two strong saves at 2-1, preserving the visitors’ advantage before they pulled away again.

For Napredak Kruševac, Aleksandar Đorđević was the most positive performer. He converted the penalty with confidence and tried to drive his team forward from midfield, but he received limited support in the final third. The home defence, meanwhile, will review the match with concern after being repeatedly opened up by direct running.
