Tactical Story

Thistle manager Brian Graham made a key substitution in the 75th minute, bringing on Munro, whose fresh legs and poaching instincts proved decisive. Montrose will feel they deserved at least a point, but defensive lapses at crucial moments cost them dearly.

Standout Players

Cara Henderson was a livewire up front for Thistle, while Rosie Slater dictated play from midfield. Montrose's Jade McLaren was excellent, winning everything in the air and scoring a fine goal. Leah Fleming showed composure from the spot.
