Nart Cherkessk 2-0 Dinamo-2 Makhachkala: Hosts Stay Solid in RUS D3B Clash

Nart Cherkessk recorded a composed 2-0 victory over Dinamo-2 Makhachkala in the Russian Third Division B on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Two well-taken goals either side of the break, combined with a disciplined defensive display, gave the home side a deserved win and three important points in the league table.

Match Overview

Nart Cherkessk started on the front foot at the Central Stadium in Cherkessk, pressing Dinamo-2 Makhachkala high and forcing the visitors into hurried clearances. The reserve side from Makhachkala showed flashes of technical quality in midfield, but they struggled to build sustained attacks against a compact and aggressive home defence.

The match was decided by Nart’s efficiency in the final third. They did not need many chances to take control, and once the second goal arrived just after the hour mark, the home side managed the game with maturity. The clean sheet was especially pleasing for a team that has been building its season around home consistency.

Key Moments

• 23′ – Nart Cherkessk 1-0: Alan Khapsirokov met a low cross from the right and swept the ball past the goalkeeper from close range.
• 41′: Dinamo-2 Makhachkala created their best chance of the first half, but a header from a corner drifted just wide.
• 61′ – Nart Cherkessk 2-0: Ruslan Karmov cut inside from the left and curled a precise shot into the far corner.
• 78′: The visitors pushed numbers forward, but Nart’s goalkeeper stood tall to deny a one-on-one opportunity.

Tactical Story

Nart Cherkessk set up in a compact 4-2-3-1, looking to win the ball in midfield and attack quickly through the flanks. Their two holding players screened the back four effectively, limiting Dinamo-2’s ability to play through the middle. When the visitors did find space, Nart responded by crowding the penalty area and forcing shots from distance.

Dinamo-2 Makhachkala enjoyed more possession in the second half but lacked penetration. Their young attackers combined neatly in wide areas, yet the final pass was often delayed or overhit. Nart, by contrast, were ruthless when opportunities arrived and looked comfortable defending their lead.

Standout Players

Khapsirokov and Karmov took their goals well, but the foundation of the win was built by Nart’s centre-backs and goalkeeper. The defence dealt with crosses intelligently and won the majority of aerial duels. For Dinamo-2, the central midfielder who dictated play in the second half was their most positive performer, though he was often left with too few forward options.

What the Result Means

This win strengthens Nart Cherkessk’s position in the RUS D3B standings and adds to their reputation as a difficult team to beat at home. Dinamo-2 Makhachkala will return to training knowing they need more cutting edge in the final third if they are to climb the table. In a division where away points are precious, this was a night when the hosts made their advantage count.
