KDV Tomsk claimed a hard-fought 2–1 away victory over Dinamo Barnaul in the Russian Third Division B on 14 September 2026, surviving a late onslaught to take all three points from a tense encounter.

The match, which kicked off at 18:00 local time, was decided by two well-taken goals from the visitors, but Dinamo Barnaul ensured a nervy finish when they pulled one back with five minutes remaining. KDV Tomsk held on, though, to secure an important win on the road.

Match Overview

The first half was a scrappy affair, with both sides struggling to find rhythm on a dry pitch. Dinamo Barnaul enjoyed the better of the early possession, but they were undone by a swift counter-attack in the 23rd minute. Aleksandr Ryabokon raced clear down the right and drilled a low shot across the goalkeeper to give KDV Tomsk the lead against the run of play.

Barnaul responded with urgency. Their midfield began to press higher, and they forced a series of corners before the break. The equaliser almost came in the 39th minute when a header clipped the top of the crossbar, but KDV Tomsk survived the pressure to go into half-time with their slender advantage intact.

Second-Half Twist

KDV Tomsk doubled their lead in the 68th minute with a goal of real quality. Sergei Kuznetsov received the ball on the edge of the box, took a touch to create space, and curled a precise shot into the far corner. It was a moment that seemed to have put the result beyond doubt.

However, Dinamo Barnaul refused to lie down. They threw men forward and were rewarded in the 85th minute when Ivan Parkhomenko headed home from a deep cross. The closing stages were frantic, with Barnaul camped in the KDV half, but the visitors defended with courage and composure to see out the win.

Tactical Story

KDV Tomsk’s game plan was built on defensive discipline and rapid transitions. They conceded possession for long periods but were dangerous every time they won the ball back in midfield. Their two goals came from quick, direct moves that caught Barnaul’s defence out of position. Dinamo Barnaul, by contrast, relied on patient build-up and crosses into the box. They created enough chances to take something from the game, but a lack of cutting edge in the final third proved decisive.

Standout Players

• Aleksandr Ryabokon (KDV Tomsk): Opened the scoring with a composed finish and stretched the Barnaul defence all evening.
• Sergei Kuznetsov (KDV Tomsk): Scored the crucial second goal with a fine individual effort.
• Ivan Parkhomenko (Dinamo Barnaul): Gave his side late hope with a well-timed header.
• KDV Tomsk goalkeeper: Made two important saves in the final ten minutes to protect the win.

What the Result Means

The victory lifts KDV Tomsk up the Russian Third Division B table and extends their encouraging run of form. For Dinamo Barnaul, it is a frustrating result after a spirited second-half display. They remain in a competitive mid-table position but will need to convert possession into goals more consistently if they are to climb higher.

Both sides now turn their attention to their next fixtures, with KDV Tomsk eager to build on this away win and Dinamo Barnaul determined to bounce back on home soil.
