Farul Constanta Women produced a ruthless 12-0 away victory over Vasas Odorhei Women in the Romanian SuperLiga Feminină on 25 October 2026.

Farul Constanta Women delivered one of the most emphatic results of the season, scoring twelve unanswered goals in a performance that underlined their attacking quality and title credentials. Vasas Odorhei Women struggled to contain Farul’s movement and finishing, and the visitors maintained their intensity from the first whistle to the last.

Match overview

Farul Constanta Women set the tone early, pressing high and forcing Vasas into mistakes in their own half. The opening goals arrived quickly, and once Farul settled into their rhythm, the game became one-way traffic. Vasas tried to defend in numbers, but Farul’s quick passing and intelligent runs repeatedly opened gaps in the defensive line.

By half-time, the contest was already effectively decided. Farul’s midfielders controlled the tempo, their wide players stretched the pitch, and the forward line finished chances with confidence. The second half brought more of the same, with Farul adding to their tally and managing the game professionally despite the comfortable lead.

Key moments

• Farul opened the scoring early after a sharp move down the right ended with a close-range finish.
• A quick double strike midway through the first half put the visitors firmly in control.
• Farul’s attacking midfielder Andreea Popa was central to the best moves and completed her hat-trick before the hour mark.
• Late in the game, Farul’s substitutes added fresh energy and contributed to the final scoreline.

Tactical story

Farul Constanta Women’s dominance came from their intensity off the ball as much as their quality on it. They pressed Vasas’s defenders relentlessly, forcing long clearances and winning possession high up the pitch. When they had the ball, Farul used quick combinations in central areas to pull defenders out of position before attacking the space behind.

Vasas Odorhei Women tried to slow the game down and defend deeper, but Farul’s movement was too fluid. The away side’s full-backs pushed high to create numerical advantages on the wings, and the midfielders arrived late in the box to add to the scoring. It was a complete attacking performance, and Vasas had no answer to the sustained pressure.

Standout players

Andreea Popa was the standout with a hat-trick and an influential all-round display, linking midfield and attack with great awareness. Striker Maria Ionescu added two goals and caused problems throughout with her movement, while Farul’s goalkeeper remained focused despite long spells without action. For Vasas, the goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, and the defenders kept working despite the scoreline.

Table impact

The result is a major boost to Farul Constanta Women’s goal difference and strengthens their position in the SuperLiga Feminină standings. A 12-0 win sends a clear message to the rest of the league about Farul’s attacking potential. For Vasas Odorhei Women, it is a difficult day to move past, but the focus will quickly turn to regrouping and producing a more resilient performance in their next fixture.
