Fotbal Club FCSB 2 produced a ruthless 6-0 victory over Acs Axi Arena in Romanian Liga III on 23 October 2026, delivering one of the most one-sided performances of the round.

FCSB 2 set the tone from the opening minutes, pressing high and moving the ball quickly through midfield. The early pressure brought the first goal, and from that point the home side controlled the contest with confidence. Acs Axi Arena struggled to cope with the pace of FCSB’s attacks, particularly down the flanks, and found themselves pinned deep in their own half for long spells.

Match overview

The first half was effectively decided before the break. FCSB 2 added further goals through a combination of sharp passing, intelligent movement, and clinical finishing. The midfield trio repeatedly found space between the lines, while the forwards stretched the defence with runs in behind. Acs Axi Arena’s goalkeeper made several saves, but the sheer volume of chances proved too much.

The second half followed a similar pattern. FCSB 2 refused to ease off, adding more goals and maintaining a high tempo even with a comfortable lead. Acs Axi Arena tried to regroup and defend in a deeper block, but the home side’s movement and quick combinations created gaps throughout.

Key moments

• Early breakthrough: FCSB 2 opened the scoring after sustained pressure and a well-placed finish.
• First-half control: The home side added more goals before the break, capitalising on quick transitions and incisive passing.
• Second-half dominance: FCSB 2 continued to create chances at will and scored further goals to complete the rout.
• Clean sheet: The home defence stayed focused, denying Acs Axi Arena any clear route back into the match.

Tactical story

FCSB 2’s performance was built on intensity and precision. Their pressing forced turnovers in dangerous areas, and their attacking players constantly rotated positions to confuse the opposing defence. The full-backs pushed high, creating width that allowed the midfielders to operate in central pockets.

Acs Axi Arena, by contrast, struggled to keep possession and were often forced into long clearances. When they did try to play out from the back, FCSB 2’s forwards closed down quickly. The result was a constant wave of home attacks and very few moments of relief for the visitors.

Standout performers and table impact

FCSB 2’s forward line was outstanding, combining movement, link-up play, and finishing. The midfield also deserve credit for controlling the rhythm of the game and winning second balls. For Acs Axi Arena, the goalkeeper and centre-backs worked hard under heavy pressure, but they received little support in possession.

The 6-0 win is a major statement in Romanian Liga III and gives Fotbal Club FCSB 2 a significant boost in goal difference and confidence. Acs Axi Arena will need to regroup quickly, tighten their defensive shape, and find a way to compete more effectively in their next fixture.
