Tactical Story

Clinceni were direct and vertical, looking to get the ball forward quickly and attack the space behind Voluntari II’s defence. Their front players pressed well and forced mistakes. Voluntari II, a younger side, grew into the game and controlled longer spells after the break, but they were vulnerable to counter-attacks. The winning goal came from exactly that pattern: a lost midfield duel, a quick pass forward, and a finish under pressure.

Voluntari II will be pleased with their fighting spirit but disappointed with the defensive errors that cost them at least a draw. Clinceni, meanwhile, showed the kind of game management that wins tight away matches.

Standout Players

Clinceni’s striker was the standout performer, scoring twice and leading the line with purpose. Their captain in midfield controlled the tempo and provided the assist for the late winner. For Voluntari II, the substitute winger changed the game after coming on, while the young goalkeeper made several good saves despite conceding three.

Season Impact

The win moves ACS LPS HD Clinceni into a stronger position in the Romanian Liga III standings and underlines their threat on the road. FC Voluntari II remain a work in progress, but the performance showed they can compete. In a league where every point matters, Clinceni’s late winner could prove significant by the end of the season.
